Preparing to ship! Wooo, got an e-mail from Apple saying that an order was delayed and panicked for a second but thankfully is just the glass screen protector I ordered 😂

Anyone else who is doing pick-up see that the status page says we will have to give them our trade-in when we get there? I thought even the pick-up orders were given a trade-in box to mail our phones in with.

I remember in 2019 when I last did pick-up, I did have to give them my old iPhone. I stayed in the store to make sure my iCloud backup was working. I'm sure you could ask an Apple Store employee if you could just ship in your old iPhone?

After the order moves to Preparing to Ship. Tracking usually populates within 24 hours or so. It's early morning in China right now. So, workers may come in and start their scheduled shift, and start scanning in batches. Hopefully, the tracking number shows up. Maybe we are moving faster this year because of the Moon Harvest holiday? Time will unveil it.

Ordered on AT&T website. It actually opened a little before 8, and I was able to check out in around a minute! I ordered the iPhone 14 Pro, 128 GB silver, and says it's expected to ship on the 15th.

I got this one here coming. Yes it has the ring but it's charcoal. On the space black or even purple it won't be that noticeable.

For yours picking up in store, do you see the order in your order history?

I placed 2 orders, one delivery and one pick up in store. Got email confirmations for both, but only the delivery one shows in my purchase history.

Yes it shows Check in on Sep 16 at the store that I am picking it up. I was just wondering because I see people who ordered for delivery, they are already on second step (Processing), while mine is still on Order Placed.

I'm running iOS 16 on all devices and had to turn WiFi off to order. Was given the 16th date but confirmation email said 23rd. Have a friend running iOS 16 and their order went through without an issue.
