Postal Service Update (potentially):

I just checked my USPS Informed Delivery Dashboard (linked from a daily digest of snail mail I'm receiving) and there's a shipping label that was created yesterday, the day I preordered, and about the same time (3:53pm) that my iPhone order status changed to "preparing for shipment".

Can others with postal service and 'preparing for shipment' status check their USPS Informed Delivery dashboards to confirm if they see the same? This would disappointingly potentially confirm that a random segment of us early-minute preorderers were dumped onto USPS.

I don’t see any packages out of the ordinary in my informed delivery, not yet anyway, but I’ll keep an eye on it

Just checked UPS, there is one package on the way. My wife’s phone. Mine still not showing up yet.

so jealous of those of you getting your numbers already! nothing here yet either, but ours will come. they aren't stateside yet, they just haven't gotten to the pallets of our phones and scanned them yet. it'll be happening all weekend

Yes, make sure you are signed up for MyChoice UPS account and you can sign it electronically.

I cancelled after sleeping on it. The lack of regular Sim support and USB-C were factors. Now the decision to either stick with my 12 mini longer or jump to the 13 mini....

Why would no sim be an issue?

I just checked the MyUPS app and my phone (Pro Max for delivery 9/16) is showing with an origin scan in ZhengZhou. Label created, not yet picked up by UPS. I don't think I've ever seen this pop up this early in the process, but I'll take it.

Mine app still empty, using my login on website the tracking by reference does not work for order or phone number either. Some of the 16th batch a bit behind yours I guess LOL. I am sure something will show this weekend

Showing up on UPS for Friday delivery as expected, could be the S8 Watch or iPhone 14 Pro, but we’ve got movement (didn’t add myself).

Last time I felt like this was in High School when I went with the HTC One instead of the iPhone 5S.

This is just... not inspiring?

Standing here with a 13 pro max. At the very least I can save some money (though Id rather spend it on cool tech). Not about to move to an Android phone again but the upgrades are becoming very incremental.

Last year we had a trick and we could get the tracking number, but it seems it’s not working anymore.

Has anyone found an option to get the tracking number? (Without calling UPS?)

Phone number or order number you can use either. It should show up. If it’s not showing up. It’s ok, it just hasn’t been assigned

Why does the tracking link here take you to a weird web address

I checked the links and it shouldn’t. It should take you to the UPS website. Unless I’m missing something. I will try to test-run it again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

For those of us showing postal service delivery. This might be an option under My Choice, to have it upgraded to a UPS delivery.

I'm not sure if this is required. I would say Call Apple or UPS and see what they say. Not worth paying the fee without actually knowing.
