Ahhhhhh so nice to see some familiar names. Looking forward to obsessively healthily tracking orders starting Friday.
You can only get through Veteran EPP if you are paying for the full balance of the phone. IUP and Installment plans are ineligible for discounted pricing.I wish we were able to do the pre-approval with the veterans discount using the app. Unfortunately it only looks like we are able to order Friday morning as far as I can tell. Anyways, happy to be back in the group this year. Looking forward to continuously refreshing my tracking for the next week. 😳

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried, but to no avail. What happens if you try through the website? would the device appear in the app after?
You can also set pre-preorder for non-iup as well

Yes if you do that then you have to enter AT&T account details. If I select "replace this iPhone on my existing AT&T account" do I have to enter AT&T account details when I place the order?
The last few iPhones that I have ordered have always been "unlocked" and I swap SIMs. Since this is an eSIM, maybe I should select that.
I don't want it to slow the order process if Apple has to verify the account with AT&T.
IMO I think so if you intend to upgrade every year and you'd only pay 1/2 and trade in the old next year and start new.Is iUP worth it ?

That's what I thought, I'll select "unconnected."Yes if you do that then you have to enter AT&T account details.
That's likely a good plan and avoid the activation fee. That's what I thought, I'll select "unconnected."
Thanks!
Good point. I used to just order unlocked and pop the sim out of my old phone. I am not familiar how this whole esim works. If I select "replace this iPhone on my existing AT&T account" do I have to enter AT&T account details when I place the order?

You won't be able to pop the sim out to use with the 14 models. None of them have physical slots and getting an eSim from AT&T is a pain in the ass.Good point. I used to just order unlocked and pop the sim out of my old phone. I am not familiar how this whole esim works.
