Haha, Thanks! Being a new to the city, I haven't got to do many things (much like our newly arrived iPhones, lol). Churchill Downs (home of the Kentucky Derby) is very neat and there are some fun spots downtown for bar hopping. One of my favorite spots downtown is Expo. It's almost like a speakeasy and it is a nondescript building that you wouldn't even know was there if you were not told about it. If you or anyone else is in Louisville, I've been told to go there and get the "Acid Cat Spirit Guide" - I can't imagine to guess what's in the drink and if you ask, they won't tell you... It's a secret. Oh, and remember to have some Kentucky Bourbon while you are here!

Everyone's order from Apple.com still says "preparing to ship". It will stay that way until late Wednesday or Thursday once all the phones get through customs in Louisville. After that, Apple will change the status to "shipped" and include the tracking numbers. We're finding our tracking numbers on UPS MyChoice website.

Are you going by the Apple Store App? If so, it will continue to show "preparing to ship" until the phone clears customs in KY, which will be by Thursday. Do you have the UPS app? You could do a tracking by reference #, such as your phone number or your order # minus the last 2 digits of the order number!

Since many iPhones are already in the USA, I wonder if this year UPS will release them early. I don't recall seeing iPhones in Louisville on Tuesday. I remember seeing them arriving to USA on Thursday night.

Has anyone with dates after launch day seen any change in their ETA? Dates moving up or back? I am hoping once launch date hits we will see some ETA adjustments for the better for those of us still waiting.

I can't imagine that they will. Apple pays UPS a lot of money to get them to customers on time but not before. I imagine that the pallets of boxes of phones will just chill in Louisville until Thursday before heading out.

So on Thursday night, I’ll be a looking for that import scan and figure out which plane will take it from Louisville to Dallas. I know that it will get on a truck from Dallas and get here to Lubbock in about 4am (330 mile trip)

I will wake up and go to my dentist appointment at 8:30, be there an hour, then go find brunch, buy a box of Krispy Kreme’s 🍩for the UPS CC peeps, just hang out and then get to my local CC about 15 minutes before they open at 11am

And if it’s like every other year, I’ll be the first yahoo to pickup. I never understood that in a town of 300k people that I’m the only yahoo here that does this. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Very nice! May have to look into booking a flight there. Seems like they have their own culture lots of good local spots there. Thank you, again.
