Landed in RDU early this morning... and straight onto a truck to me! Only about 20 minutes away.

And now I'm watching this UPS live map as if watching is gonna make the truck get here faster. Congrats to all who have taken delivery already! I should have mine before COB.

Welp, I didn't check for 2 hours and I'm almost behind 20 pages!! Good news,my iPhone is out for delivery. Now I just wait until 7pm to get it from the UPS person. Now I'm going to go read all the posts of happy iPhone 14 Pro owners!! 😍

Proper display calibration means it will always be a bit yellowish you don’t want it to be too blue. Environment via True Tone can also have an impact. People by now should realize this.

That's been proven false. Many of the 12Ps were way too yellow even if you take into account proper calibration. Several YouTubers with knowledge about screen calibration tested this.

Regardless, Apple should just add a screen temperature slider in the screen settings.

My local customer service center is only open from 4:30 to 6:30 PM, but I had a buddy who would let me pick it up early around nine in the morning. He got told this morning by his boss that they can’t do that anymore, and so now I’m stuck waiting all day again until 4:30.

Wow. A two hour window. That’s insane.

You don’t need to unpair the AW, during setup you’ll be asked if you want to pair your watch to the 14 pro, click continue and it automagically pairs to it.

Unpairing creates a fresh backup of the watch. I always forget to do this, and always end up having to restore a really old backup of my watch.

wow... I ordered from Apple (and tied it to my AT&T account) but when I went to AT&T this morning there was a guy in the store next to me who ordered directly from AT&T with an Oct. delivery date and I heard them tell him he was not allowed to cancel his order and then pick one up in the store today. He said it was a new policy because it caused a backlog of orders and he walked out. I would have been allowed to do it since I ordered from Apple but they said there could be a waiting time before it detached from my AT&T account and I didn't want to risk it. I guess it worked for you because you canceled directly with AT&T (where I would be canceling with Apple) and then ordered from Apple.

That sounds like AT&T. I will never go back to AT&T -- terrible company, IMO.

MyChoice map isn’t showing up like usual but just passed the truck on my walk. Wishing I could just snag it, but hopefully will come soon. 🤞 Is anyone getting the map to pop up? Never had this happen before.

Thanks for reply. Follow on a live map isn’t showing. Someone said it only appear when the delivery truck is 15 stops close. I guess it’s not close yet???

If this is true it took UPS 5 hours to deliver 15 packages last time. That said, I do remember the "follow" notice came later in the day. But I almost never get ups deliveries before 5:00pm and frequently they are closer to 8pm :-(

Mine has been at the local hub since 8 p.m. yesterday. No way it missed a truck.

I hate that this is still a thing. There should be an easier way to create backups of the watch anytime, without having to go through the unpairing process. And it should be easier to simply pair a watch from one phone to a new one without losing data too!

Hello from Victoria Gardens!

It’s pretty low key here so far.

Apple person confirmed with my that there were no iPhones available online this morning for pickup and also said the person on the phone was incorrect.

They said the closest they might able to help me is 10 am or 11 and even then they are not sure. They want the line to dissipate. There is a walk up line and there are people getting iPhones today that do not have one ordered I believe. A chunk of that line just went into the store.

I got my iPad and this thread and will find a bench and see what happens the next few hours
