Soo...My 14 pro max just shut off and is unresponsive. Won't power on, the battery was full, but I've got it on the charger to see if that will doing anything. Nothing so far.

While I got mine opening day, so this does not affect me I was reading that Apple has cranked up more of its regular 14 lines to do 14 Pros and ProMaxās. The article did seem to imply this was moving up order times somewhat that could be what a number of you are now seeing

Yeah I think this āso called wave 3ā to use a term is another large group from what I am reading. Apple is cranking out more Proās and ProMaxās by switching lines from 14 regulars. If that is case just like our opening day batches a lot of the UPS scans get missed until almost when phone arrives to us. So yeah being in Korea I assume you are already there given what you were told. Heck maybe the shipment batches are bigger than opening day waves 1 and 2 were for us. Will be interesting to see and we can get the pages up to 1000 to boot LOL

Good how do they not know by now how popular Pros are and make more right away? I see almost every regular 14 choice in every nearby store but ZERO Pro/PM. I sometimes see a regular Pro but it disappears again promptly. And not a single Max since the first few days. 10AM is when they update right?
Looking at the others here who now see Korea all have the same arrival time as yours 8:20 PM. Korea is 14 hours ahead of us timewise It shows on my world clock display. So it was roughly in Korea (arrival) around 6 am yesterday your time. Plenty of time to have gotten to Louisville and shipped out. It is strange worse the scan gaps are compared to opening day shipments group. Looking forward to seeing what happens
Well I khow they watch closely what is going on. it was article that I read saying they would shifting more lines to the Proās so given what you see for lack in stores and the push back of dates on orders for pros vs regular 14ās sure looks like the Pro line is the winner itās year. I have never worked with apple store myself they are 100 miles away from me so not sure when stock is updated

Alsoā¦.. I would think lots of iPhones in your delivery are heading to the stores for inventory. Wonder if they will be added to inventory quickly as possible or on the 23rd so they can simply bump the staff back up then.
Yeah, I had tried that. That's what I was referring to when I mentioned "soft reset" lol. I thought a hard reset was a wipeāmy bad. I'm going to post an update now, but I've got it working again. I had to do the reset while plugged into my Mac. I had tried doing the reset and plugging it into the Mac, but not doing them at the same time lol. Apple support came to the rescue.

I asked the tech to run a diagnostic, just to see if anything came up hardware-wise. The results came back fine, so the tech speculated it had something to do with the last update not fully finalizing.
Found one! Not from Apple though, but my local Costco had them. So if you don't want to wait a month+ from Apple right now and were also planning on getting AppleCare+ (Costco only sells it bundled but with a $30 discount) this is an option. Unlocked Space Black only. Also available online it looks like.

That stinks. Doesn't matter anyhow. I can't find any PM and a very rare regular Pro that disappears promptly. Wish there was a way to just open the search radius instead of having to put in different ZIPs in each direction.
Based on last week I think there will be a bunch of iPhones hitting the stores Friday that I would think would be on the planes currently delivering ordered iPhones. I just feel they would want to align this to the Ultra and AirPod Pro 2 release day. This is obviously pure speculation though. If I was waiting on an iPhone I would be waking up at 5am TH and F and checking the app for in store availability. Pure optimistic speculation.
