Almost time... good luck everyone, really hope we can all get day 1 deliveries. I'm planning on getting it delivered and then taking a trip to the Apple Store a few days in to try out different sizing options incase the scanned sizing isn't perfect :)

Done, 12 July, 256GB model. Figure I'll stream most of my movies from my Plex server so I don't need to store much.

Well not surprised that the pre-order was quick and painless, as doubt that there are many of us pre-ordering, order is in for pickup at the local store, submitted my prescription for Zeiss Lens. Now just need to wait for the 12th.

Placed order and the bank declined the transaction - Will have to ring them I guess.

What are people doing for cases in the UK, Going for the fluffy Apple cloud or a 3rd Party one?

Need to see how much use the vision pro will be to me yet. I'll give it 2 weeks at home, then I'll look into cases if I decide to keep it.

Seemed like there wasn't as much server load as an iPhone day. I had to cancel the first time. I hadn't picked a pickup store so it was defaulted to delivery. Second time lucky with additional bank check. Just waiting for the prescription check now.

Cancelled to change store location, entered card details instead of Apple Pay and PreAuth was immediate as appose to Apple Pay.

That makes sense. My Pro Vision was charged directly to the card and I can see it. The lenses remained on the original order with Apple Pay and I can't see that charge yet
.

Probably the Spine Klasgen but the Apple on looks more secure...

Thanks , just looked at the review of the Spigen it was a bit mixed. Waterfeild SF appeared to be the recommended alternative, but not sure if that is available in the UK yet, and almost as expensive as the Apple one. Might just go for the Apple one as you say it looks the most secure.

Looks like they still have launch day stock so not quite flying off the shelves. I've booked a demo (without ordering) to go experience it on the Saturday after launch, might end up buying while I'm there...

I ordered my Zeiss inserts today and just had the mail to say they're being made which is a quick turnaround.

I picked up the Waterfield Vision Pro case in the US and it really is worth the money. Great quality and well thought-out. Its also compact - its sitting on a small bedside table at the moment - and doesn't take up too much space in a bag when traveling.
