While 256GB is probably enough for most, that might be tight for those who want to download 3D movies for watching on an airplane, etc..
I'm taking a "you first" approach to wearing mine on a plane. 😆 But I was so blown away by the first time I wore AirPods Pro on a plane and turned on noise cancelling I bet this would make it that much better. I really hate flying.

Think of those long, overnight flights. Sitting in one of the back rows with a Vision Pro. You could crank up the meditation app and tune right out, or a movie.

Well, those files aren’t really that large; an “uncompressed” remux 4K file with DolbyVision is 50GB in H264. Downloading from the Apps on the Vision Pro will be in H265 and thats considerably smaller.

256 GB is definitely sufficient if you also want to pre-load some movies from time to time.

I have some helpful information about sizing for the Apple Vision Pro Light Seal. You are getting two sizes with every purchase.

The Light Seal is only available to purchase in odd sizes (21W, 23W, 25W for example). These odd sizes correspond to using the regularly sized Light Seal Cushion. To access the even sizes (22W, 24W, 26W for example), you pair a Light Seal with the plus version of the Light Seal Cushion (21W+ is the same as 22W).

Every light seal includes two cushions, one regular and one plus. If you buy a 21W Light Seal, you are also getting a 22W Light Seal.

Interesting! That explains why we get two of the cushions and one seal.

Super interesting--kind of reminds me of the way you get a "short" and "long" version of one half each sport loop for the Apple Watch.

i was just charged for my store pickup order as well, however my Apple Card declined it as suspicious. Di anyone know if Apple will attempt to charge again? I’ve approved it in my app but don’t want the order to be cancelled.

Thank you for that and very useful!

Hopefully I won't need to visit the Apple Store during the first 2 weeks for a light seal exchange.

Call GS Apple Card as soon as possible - otherwise your order will get cancelled as orders are being prepped to ship in the next 48 hours.

My order for AVP and travel case for in store pickup is showing as pending on my credit card this morning too. Same for my lens order too although that shows a null delivery date still to my home address.

Wish there was noise cancellation on the VP speakers.

The jet engine noise is loudest at the rear of the plane....

Well, you will be wearing AirPods on the plane.

I hope that the band, along with the AirPods Max, is somewhat manageable. Flying with AirPods or AirPods Pro is truly terrible. I’ve been flying since the very first Bose QC with over-ear headphones, and you really can’t go back to just earbuds.

I have some more helpful information, this time for people picking up their Vision Pro or buying one in store.

You will be leaving the Apple Store with your Vision Pro sealed in the box. It will not be opened at the store.

You will have a separate box that contains the straps and seals that you found to be the best fit. You will try these on using a store Vision Pro unit with a special version of the OS which assists with fitting and acting as a tutorial without having to spend time linking to your iCloud account.

Do not bring your Zeiss lenses to the Apple Store. The store Vision Pro units are designed to only pair with the stores assortment of lenses (bring your glasses, they have a machine that looks through your glasses and matches you to the best lenses).

Why would they match you to the best lenses when you’ve already bought Zeiss lenses?

Apple does not want to handle the lenses you own. (Edit: Issues with them would be between you and Zeiss / Apple Online. Retail stores will distance themselves from the lenses.)

But what are you talking about using your glasses to match to the best lenses?
