Well my Zeiss inserts have shipped. :) Apple Vision Pro still “preparing to ship” but UPS still says on track for Friday.
Same. UPS also says still on track for Friday though no movement shown since 1/23.

I'm noticing that maybe those who are getting on today's flights are the ones who had their last updates on 1/22? Might indicate us 1/23'ers might be on tomorrow's flights...

When I hit "change my delivery" I get a notice that's asking me to try again after a failed delivery attempt (though UPS will never actually reach my home with snow on the ground to even get one). Is this something you think they'll be able to handle over the phone? Will have to call tomorrow morning when I'm not working and see what the situation is like. View attachment 2342815
Careful, changing delivery usually adds a day unless it is the main hub for your city.

You won't be able to change delivery until the package clears US Customs and is en-route to the SDF main hub.

And @Lobwedgephil is correct, if you time the change of delivery too late, it will push it to the next business day (Monday).

You will have to pay for the customer counter or UPS Store pick up - depending on your UPS My Choice membership level.

Huh, will give this a shot once it clears into the US. I'm just a free member but a small fee is worth it to me vs. an indefinite delay. I just hope it works without the address verified in my account. Last time I was waiting on a package with snow on the ground this happens over and over again, even days after the storm as they don't like coming down the incline to my cul de sac for fear of not getting back up afterwards on the residual snow.

I have the following for one of my devices. It looks like it came to the US and went back? I am half scared this device will most likely be lost.

These travel as a big unified series of wrapped pallets for a lot of the first part of the journey into the US. I think they get broken up after customs clearance and get sent on their individual ways - the Louisville scan is likely just a generic United States Customs process scan that doesn't reflect that the package is actually in Louisville.

Anyone have any experience in being able to change their delivery order to in store pick up somehow? I'm not a day one delivery and in store pick up wasn't an option. I don't mind not having it on day one but I'd far rather pick this thing up in store than have it delivered to my house.

I wish there was an option to pick up in store on X day, even if X day is weeks later.
Just do in store pickup … ohh its not going to be weeks later tho.

It definitely goes through Louisville; that is the biggest distribution center UPS has. Pretty much everything goes through Louisville if you’re shipping it across the country. I think it was someone here (or Reddit) that actually lives in Anchorage, Alaska and their order still goes to Louisville and then gets shipped back to them in Alaska.

Yay - me too! This is starting to get exciting!

Gotta say, I’m really looking forward to this.
I watched Andru Edwards' 30 minute impression video last night and he addressed some things I've been concerned about and now I'm even more excited if that's even possible. The biggest thing he specified that I haven't heard anyone else specifically mention is that there is NO screendoor effect like in all the other headsets he's worn. The windows look like they're really there. The environments look like you're really in them. Everything looks real.

He also said the weight has never been an issue for him and if you've worn other headsets before this will feel similar. For that reason, I think I'm going to go with the default head band at the beginning and save the dual strap one for if it gets uncomfortable.

Looks like one of the flights landed 28 minutes ago, so I'm wondering if my order will change to shipped sometime today.

Absolutely it does, but Louisville is known to pop up for import scans as the default US HQ location. I don't believe that user's headset was actually in Louisville when it received that scan.

I hope that the band, along with the AirPods Max, is somewhat manageable. Flying with AirPods or AirPods Pro is truly terrible. I’ve been flying since the very first Bose QC with over-ear headphones, and you really can’t go back to just earbuds.
I actually prefer APP to my APM. I get way better noise-isolation from buds than I do from over-ears, leading to better noise-cancellation.
