My UPS tracking updated about 4 minutes ago, finally leaving Shanghai.

Package still at Shanghai here and was not part of the two flights which departed today. It will probably be in the flights of tomorrow
Not that behind! More flights are expected in the following day(s?) for some of us with 2/2 delivery. (Including me which didn’t leave Shanghai and is still scheduled for release day)
Theres most likely a lot of packages still waiting in Shanghai I assume

Mine finally "Departed from facility" in Shanghai at 1:18 AM 1/31. First movement since 1/23. Very exciting.
Got charged for the travel case and it's now preparing to ship

Unlike all of you, I am hopping a plane and flying to Miami (from Guatemala) to pick mine up in the store. I had to wait till the 3rd since my daughters birthday is on the 1st. (Of course I wasn't going to miss her birthday, honey!) 
But it's fun to live vicariously through the shipments. Thanks for sharing!

I don’t typically purchase AppleCare+ for my products, but watching Brian Tong’s AVP unboxing video is making me nervous. Feels like dropping the AVP and it falling and smashing the glass front on a hard surface would be incredibly easy, especially when family and friends are trying it on and they’re fiddling with the head bands. I will be retroactively purchasing the two-year $499 AppleCare+ coverage once the serial number is associated with my Apple ID.
And two more flights departures scheduled at 9pm and 11:25pm local time from Shanghai! Hopefully this is the ones for some of us

I ordered the Saturday after pre-orders opened. Initially, it was scheduled for March 4-11. That changed just over a week ago to February 29 - March 5, and now it has been adjusted again, but this time to February 20-27. 🥳

My order now says "Shipment Delayed" but when I click on it for more info, it still says "Arrives February 2." Unfortunately, UPS MyChoice is borked for me (they won't allow me to update my contact info online so I can't track anything until it's shipped so I can only wait until Apple provides a tracking number.
