Before I ordered, I asked for a credit line increase and after 4 years of loyal use, I got a measly $500 increase, at least it was a soft pull.....

A 4K (not 3D) movie rip can easily be 89 GB or larger.

For those who purchased using the Apple Card with monthly installments, how many monthly payments will you need to pay.

Once an order is made it is frozen. You can't add to it, change it, etc. To change payment you have to cancel the order and create a new one.

Yup, even with the Vision Pro, my credit utilization would only be about 20%… should have worked fine.

I’m having the same problem. 10K limit/available and authorization won’t go through. Goldman sees nothing on their end. Alternative card didn’t work either.

First world problems, I realize. But it appears there’s a big somewhere along the way.

I was under the impression that while the payment method can’t be changed online, sometimes calling Apple support works and they’ll let you alter it.

yes, I have done that recently with a Mac Studio & display I bought on pre-order day.

The Apple rep said as long as I made the change before "Preparing to Ship" that it would not affect my order.

Sure enough, was able to pick them up at the Apple store on launch day - after changing payment from Amex to Apple Card w/ financing.

Was your Apple Store app updated on your iOS device?

I updated mine before purchase - instant approval - 12 months financed.

Had my Studio Mac ready as a back up at 5am this morning...

Well thought I’d share:

after dropping the ball for Feb 2nd delivery. I got a 16th delivery date.

But I just found out They are trickling inventory through the stores. If you want launch day and are willing to pick up, do this!!

In the app. go to the configuration page for the Vision Pro. Select all your choices.

Then you’ll get a delivery estimate and pickup option at the top.

Then if it says unavailable for pickup, keep touching different sizes until the pickup option says it’s available! Then pick your size and checkout asap!!! That’s how I did it—3 hours later mind you!

i've done the fitting like 10 times now in hopes of getting a better pickup date (no luck) and i get the same small size every time

Well, my February 8th delivery (small) 256B has already moved to preparing to ship- so here’s hoping maybe it’ll be a launch day surprise! I also ordered medium headbands as I think the small was a one off mistake anyway and probably is the reason for my 2/8 date at 5:02 lol…fingers crossed! They definitely charged my card haha.

guess i just have a small head

dont do that. i wrote a how to earlier in the thread. but just add your configured setup to your cart. then "save it" for later.

then, go to your save that has all your options selected. and then just keep clicking different storage sizes until the "pickup" date changes. you really never have to even leave the page. just keep selecting different sizes and thepickup info will automatically reload each time

Finally had to call Apple and they determined they have to do an 'investigation' on why I'm unable to complete the purchase. No blocks on my account. Just some weird glitch. Of course it has to happen when I'm trying to purchase the one thing I'm most excited about.

Same. It denied me several times, tried my Amex, Apple Card, etc - it eventually went through on my Amex via Apple Pay, but I lost Feb-02 pickup times (I had 8am!) and slipped to Feb-06 delivery. Not a great experience, and the first time this has happened for me - I hope they iron this out before the next iPhone pre-order. AVP I can wait on, the next iPhone is always an obsession.

I could not get any card or Apple Pay payment to go through. It's just insane that neither Goldman nor another CC saw the request for authorization come through.

Through my convo with Apple on the phone, I did learn there is a limit of 2 on the Apple Vision Pro

My Apple Card credit limit is only like %2800 and I was able to complete the purchase using financing and I see a charge of $222 pending... but somehow my card is maxed out. like I just tried to use it at the grocery store and it declined as over the limit. yet my balance only says $398..

That’s how Apple financing works with the Apple Card. Financed items don’t reflect on your balance (card balance), but do count towards your limit (available). That means if you financed the Vision Pro you’re holding that on your overall balance which counts against your credit limit. Every month you’ll see the payment hit your card.

Apple cancelled my lenses order due to ZEISS not being able to fill my prescription as it’s out of their range, said I can check with my doctor, I have bought lenses that have worked great with the metaquest 2,3 and psvr2 . Wtf. Gonna check if the same company will be making any
