I can't wait to see the official grid... theres no way all of those wrecked cars can get repaired in time is there?

Will there even be a 17th spot?

The weather is expected to worsen during the day, with national weather warnings in place for heavy rain and advisories telling people to stay home. I wouldn't be surprised if the race gets postponed and eventually canceled considering what we saw in qualifying.

How hard can it be for 22 men to agree on rain qualifying? It is insane that after 50+ yrs and at least 5 or 6 occasions when it has rained and a session has been postponed.. There is no rule to work to.. It should be 2 hours prior to the race, qualifying occurs.. So 12pm for Q, then 3pm for race..

Bonus points for 0730 and 1230.. Genius, no one saw that.. Well done, and not mocking, genuine, using a bit of brain really does wonders..Impressed..

Half hour till race start and conditions look okay. Temps are climbing very quickly so the track could dry out quickly after the start.

Lance Stroll spins on the formation lap and now half the field stuffed the aborted start (including Norris) so looks like they are at risk of getting penalties...

Having spent some time in race control before, I do not envy trying to run this absolute mess of a race.

Extremely entertaining for us though!

What a masterclass of a drive by Max Verstappen. Truly remarkable whether you are a support or not.

What a race. Max 17th to 1st and Alpine 2nd and 3rd, jumping from 9th to 6th in the CC, which is worth $50 million.

And now we wait for all the pending investigations and possible penalties to be figured out to determine the non-podium positions.
