It really confused me as I just plugged my phone into the pc for the first time in 10 days and have been following the 3.1 thread before i went away as i am on the developer programe too, I decided to hold off installing 3.1 as I need my phone to stable on holiday, got in plugged in my phone and "presumed it said 3.1.0"

Sorry for the confusion peeps, you may now go about your daily business :)

I think there will be a new beta today and then it will be released in September.

I went to log into my developer account today and it says "W'ell be back soon, We are busy updating the site. Please check back soon." So Something mite come out today, hopefully...

Mine's been doing that for 4 days on safari. I tried with Camino, and it went straight through. Probably need to clear my cookies.

My Safari has been doing that for a week now as well. After clearing cache, closing Safari, opening Safari, clearing cache, closing Safari, clearing cache, then trying dev center again... I got in. Don't know what causes that....

June 30th, we saw 3.1 beta 1
July 14th, two weeks later, 3.1 beta 2
July 27th, one day shy of two weeks later, 3.1 beta 3

My guess is, if we don't see beta 4 this week, we will be seeing 3.1 GM next week or the week after.

3.1 Beta 3 stinks. It has terrible cellular signal! I hardly get EDGE, and never get 3g service.

I take the SIM card out, and put it in my Blackberry Bold, and have 3g service, and if it falls out of 3g, I have EDGE with good signal and service.

Totally amazing! Not so happy with it at all............. Hopefully they will figure out whats going on, and get it so it receives the signal good!

Matt

There should be a new beta today. Apple already releasing a lot of updates today, Safari 4.0.3, SL GM, TrackPad Update for Windows and so on.

And the Developer site is down at the moment and 'will be back shortly'...

Still nothing... just looked again.

Still plenty of time, Apple doesn't release everything at same time. They'll stagger it over time. I think at most, 9PM EST. If we don't see anything before 9PM, then it's probably not going to be today.

I beleive that if the update does not come out today, that apple will release the final GM this week. In the past 3.1 betas, Apple has done it every 2 weeks (expect beta 3) and if they do not release the newest beta 4 today, then that meas that they are taking extra time to polish the final GM up before the final release later this week... I hope that this is the case

I just attempted to log in to apple's iphone developer's website and I got a message stating "We are busy updating the site. Please check back soon." Hopefully this means that they are getting ready to release 3.1 beta 4.

Oops, sorry...I just noticed that this was already posted. And yes, I have cleared out my cache etc and the message is still there.

Did you not read the previous posts? It's been stated several time, this is just a cookie issue. Clear your cookie, cache and you'll be able to log in.

Clear the cache, cookies, etc. You may have to do it a few times.
Other people here were having the same problem.

Try this...

Yes, I red the previous posts. There's no need to be rude about it. I am actually accessing the developers page for the first time the computer I happen to be using so it's definitely NOT a cache issue.

I actually updated my post stating that this was already posted and apologized for my post. Maybe you should clear your cache and refresh your browser before replying to posts. :)

Tried that and I'm still getting the message. This was actually the first time I accessed the developer page from the computer I am using so it's definitely NOT an issue with the cache or cookies.

I cleared mine just to be sure, and I am still logging in no problem.
