I pre ordered on the 9th at around 11am, has anyone received their phone yet from around the same time as I ordered? I had to pay £39 to upgrade early, if I'd of waited till the 16th I wouldn't of had to pay but wanted the new phone asap so went ahead and paid it. Would anyone else be mad they'd paid to upgrade early but still not received their phone?
11am isn't early in terms of pre-orders. If I had ordered at 8ish and didn't get it soon after release then yes.
There is literally no way to know. I ordered at 8.30 and my iPhone 7+ 128 said delivery was up to 2 weeks. Mine is coming tomorrow so not 2 weeks after launch as I suspected.
How long was the estimated time on yours when ordering? I noted they quickly slipped to up to 6 weeks.
Well depends on the model you received. I would go by the dates shown on the site when you had pre ordered. For example, Plus models in jet black and black was already around up to 4-6 weeks when it hit 11.
Mine said upto 2weeks as well. I've Ordered black 256gb plus. I'd just like a delivery date lol
Ordered mine on the 9th between 10-11 as went to o2 store first to try to order one there and by time got back and got the confirmation email just after 11. Paid £30 to upgrade early. No delivery date on confirmation email. Hopefully won't be waiting too long.

Haven't heard a thing from o2, didn't look at delivery times when I ordered. Forgot to check.
I really hope so! Sold my 6 plus and using a poxy s4 mini till the 7plus comes.Expect an update next weekshouldn't be too long for you now.
After planning to get a black 7+ I saw the leadtimes so opted for a Gold 256Gb Plus. O2 site said up to 2 weeks. I was hoping for a pleasant early surprise, now Im prepared for a nasty one.Expect an update next week

Yep I ordered the same (matt black I assume) and put the order through as an ugpragde at around 9am on the 9/9. Like you I have heard nothing. Tried O2 chat on Friday and the guy didn't have a clue when I would get it. Pisses me off that they have already taken the £250 odd I have to pay upfront.
Had a look on my o2 and says my contract renews today, hopefully it doesn't affect my 7+ upgrade pre order with a new tariff
After being told a number of times by customer services that my 32gb matte black 7+ is awaiting dispatch in a warehouse. I have just received this email.

My order for matt black 256GB 7+ was placed at 8.05 on the 9/9. Just spoke to O2 to get an update and just be told its going to be 6 weeks. When I placed my the order i was aware that it was going to be 1-2 week delivery time but somehow has now jumped to 6 bloody weeks. Just crazy, what makes things even worse is that O2 have already charged me for the phone so this is just ridiculous. Apparently a manager is going to call me tomorrow. Will wait and see if that does indeed happen.
Matt black 256GB 7 Plus- £180 upfront at £53 a month plus I had to pay £70 to end my refresh contract. So O2 have already charged me £250 but now saying a 1-2week wait when I ordered is now 6 weeks!!!
Tried today but got nowhere, expecting a call in the morning from a manager, quite what he/she can do I don't know. Wonder if more stock will start to filter through the system next week?
Definitely will. They always over estimate the delivery dates. Mine was up to 2 weeks when I ordered and I'm getting mine tomorrow and I ordered at 8:20/8:30 9/9!
May I ask what you ordered and roughly what time? I have the same estimated delivery (1-2weeks) but this has somehow increased to 6 weeks.
