My matte black 128GB 7 has just been shipped. So I guess they've found their missing stock :)

I just got one of those texts from them too, I am sure this will go down well on Twitter for those who've not got confirmed delivery of phones but O2 are trying to get them to buy accessories!
 
I've had no contact from O2 (email or text) since last Friday apart from useless live chats ...At this point I wouldn't even mind being told my phone isn't coming for a week or two because at least then I'd know, it's the uncertainty which is so frustrating.

Was that a normal preorder or through the yearly upgrade can I ask?
Nobody using the Annual upgrade plan with O2 can EVEN order until 25th September - a year from when it was launched.

Add the waiting time for being at the back of the queue and if you want a black 7+ it might be Christmas.

Don't forget where that leaves you in the line for next years phone either - a year from when you getting this years one.

Seems like a programme designed to annoy the exact type of customer they are trying to build loyalty with.

6th time lucky apparently with the live chats, finally got someone to give me a expected date, 28th of September, despite someone else telling me it should've been dispatched last night. Bit pissed off I didn't get a text about it etc last night, O2 have been awful at communication this time around!

Considering how gash the web chat people have been, I wouldn't believe the latest answer either!

Totally would not be an iota of faith into that 28th date whatsoever.
 
Well I spoke to O2 on live chat on wednesday and thursday and on both occasions they confirmed it had been dispatched and was on the way to the store. Then got the infamous text.

According to guy in store today they received no 7+s today, and they don't expect any for at least a week.
 
Tried to ask O2 how iPhones were allocated to preorders as it seems from here it's random and luck. As expected no straight answer!
 
From another forum (I suspect many on here are also on said other forum lol)

I've spoken to customer service about being told my order would be delivered today this morning, to then be told it's out of stock when I called about an hour ago.

I pointed out that lying to customers was completely unacceptable and I wished to speak to a manager.

I got called back pretty quickly considering the day they must be having, and was told the following, "We've received a message from our despatch team, we are receiving another delivery of 7 plus' later today and another tomorrow, all pre orders supposed to be fulfilled by the release date will be out for delivery by Monday"

Hopefully, that's true and gives us all some hope of not having to wait too long!
 
I went to a few O2 stores today in Manchester. They were all pretty much dead. They had regular 7's (didn't ask which variants) but none had any 7+, one of the stores told me they didn't even get any!
