They're saying on twitter they didn't get as many as they hoped and have a few stock replies setup for people. It's weird though, they specifically said, certainly when I ordered, that it was for delivery tomorrow. So either they have been stiffed by Apple or were just guessing at their stock level and selling phones they knew they might not have.

Hey ho.
They have told everyone that by the looks of it (other than Jet Black), I think they have made a big mistake on an iPhone that they have technically launched from day one!

Oh god their chat service is ran by a bunch of loonies. Lol, I try to avoid it.
Loonies and liars hahaha by the looks of it, the easier why to contact O2 has also been the easiest way to be told what you want to hear then the text gets sent the night before ;)

Haha, Ive had no reply from o2 since I've ordered last Friday at opening time and it's the last place I want to go to find information because I know they just chat rubbish. :)

A few days won't hurt, I'm just happy all my cases came in :p (Theyre mostly all clear and the cheapest one is the one I prefer the most).

A few days hurts when you've paid O2 well over £300 for the privilege to get the latest iPhone LATE

Why don't you think that, when is your order due to be delivered?

When I clicked order it said 16th but I don't remember what it said when it finished, I assume it was up to a week because it was around 8:30.

Well being angry about it won't help. A lot of carriers are having problems and it's not like there's loads of stock elsewhere. It's not like they can summon a thousand iPhones, if anything it's Apples fault for releasing it a week later after announcement and not making enough. :)

Think I'll try the Apple upgrade program at 6am on Saturday morning and try my luck. O2 have really annoyed me tonight and I was already having doubts about staying with them again.

I'm angry that I was told today it would be dispatched tomorrow, how on earth did O2 not know that there was a delay... This is a clever move on their part - send the message too late so it looks like they cant do anything about it for launch day and then have the weekend to blame for delivery etc

how easy is it to cancel an upgrade they have already charged me as well o_O

They've charged me too. I'm sure they will refund it no problem back to the payment source.

Nice of them to take the cash when they have no idea when they can fulfil the order though isn't it?

Thats whats upset me! They have their money (and accumulated interest) and we have nothing!

Im not leaving / canceling because of the phone not arriving its cuz of the way o2 made so many empty promises and handled the whole situation

Yeah they have purposely kept this information secret until the last moment to retain the maximum number of orders/customers and are hoping and praying a shipment comes in Monday to send out Tuesday

I just think this years' one week has been a toll on all the carriers. Oh well, EE has been having problems too.
