Anyone with a 7+ 128GB matte black had a dispatch yet?

@HighFlyingBirds Pretty shameful customer service to go from telling you it'll come tomorrow to then say 4 weeks.

But I've been through this with the 6plus launch so I'm not surprised at all. Loads of stories like this with O2. Must be chaos at their warehouses!

Now received a text saying I should get my phone in the next 4 days, not going to lie I'm a little pissed that someone order yesterday morning and will get theirs tomorrow
 
Just got a text to say my 128gb matte black won't be here tomorrow, will get an update next week. The late notice is a bit rubbish as I obviously didn't look into any alternatives because O2 were taking orders to be delivered tomorrow.

Any suggestions on alternative options, have sold my SE today too :)
 
O2 just told me that my iPhone is hasn't arrived with them and they can't deliver for 4 days.

I am so angry, I was told not even 12 hours ago that my phone would be dispatched tomorrow!

Got the exact same message. Funny how live chat told me the following yesterday. Going to kick up a fuss with O2 tomorrow.

NIRWAN: Hey Steven, so I checked the system and due to heavy number of orders, the systems tend to not get updated sometimes. Although, the dispatch has been started and you will get your phone on the 16th.
 
Shame, hard luck guys. Looks like 7 matte blacks coming in on Tues and 7+ matte blacks, well they don't know when.

If it's any consolation, I didn't get so much as a text or email!
 
why are you all upgrading through O2? its far cheaper going through the upgrade program and getting a sim only surely?
 
It's hard luck when O2 tell you at preorder that you won't receive on day of release.... or even a few days before, not technically 3 hours before the release day!
 
Well thats me got the text now. The good news is its says I should get it in 4 days, considering I was told earlier it would be 4 weeks! Still not at all impressed with O2, this is the first iPhone launch that I haven't received a phone since the 3GS! :mad:
 
They're saying on twitter they didn't get as many as they hoped and have a few stock replies setup for people. It's weird though, they specifically said, certainly when I ordered, that it was for delivery tomorrow. So either they have been stiffed by Apple or were just guessing at their stock level and selling phones they knew they might not have.
