iPhone 6 here.
8.3 was good
9.2.1 even better
9.3 so far better still
No lags/stutters etc. Every update the phone got faster and even more smoother.

I wonder why there is so much variation between devices. I absolutely believe the posters here, but my iPhone 6 just took a MAJOR hit. I am reluctant to restore it though because I'll lose all of my fitness and Activity data....my streak...:(

Very smooth on my 6s here...noticeably so over 9.2.1. I like night shift too and the updates to News are welcomed...loads stories faster.

Calm down. It's indexing. Sheesh.

9.3 is super fluid on my iPhone 6. Not a single frame drop, even after a cold boot.

Also, cellular usage lag is completely gone. This release is even smoother than iOS 5!

Makes my iPhone feel like an iPhone 6s!

Hell, I was thinking about upgrading to the 6s, but now I don't have to!

Since beta 7 is exactly the same as the final release I've had the pleasure of using it for a week and I must say its been flawless. I haven't had a single app close or weird bug or lag and I must say that it's probably the best iOS release in terms of stability and fluidity in a long time.

Same here but didn't have betas. I'm really liking this update so far. Probably since iOS 6.1. Although I notice little things like the 3D Touch keyboard bug is mostly fixed and I've had a couple of apps freeze but no biggie. If it stays like this I'll be tempted not to rush for the next update.

I was VERY disappointed with the performance of my Air 2 when I bought it last year with iOS 9.0.

Since the 9.3 betas started though I've been very content with performance. It's still not perfect but it's definitely night and day from the days of 9.0, 9.1 and even 9.2!

It's breathed new life into my Air 2 and I couldn't be happier :)

Just tested my Air 2 and it is better. I felt the same way when I got mine. I do feel a little better about owning one since the 9.7" iPad Pro specs were released.

It is very fluid, so far it is the best iOS 9 Release on my iPhone 6s,however it seems that my battery is draining...

I'm liking 9.3 on my 6S. The 3D touch trackpad is also very accurate now.

The only reason I'm waiting for Jailbreak now is to modify host file.

First full day on 9.3. iPhone 6S. It isn't great, but I can live with it. The performance and bug fix trade offs are well worth it.

Seems like a lot of love for 9.3, which is great. But I'm holding off updating because almost every person that complains of lag/stuttering is using an iPhone 6. Anyone on a regular 6 that loves 9.3 or has no issues?
6 here and no issues, best update of 9 so far.

What are you talking about !!! My iPhone 6 with 9.3 lags , stuttering and it's very slow ..
Either he's lying or you are...or maybe you're both right and the are other factors?

At every update the same discussions.... you can't judge the battery life after ONE DAY.

Better than Beta 7 but still pretty stuttery here and there.

I just think there is people that would see lags and stutter everywhere no matter what Apple does....

Two essentially identical iPhone 6 phones here. Upgraded one to 9.3, the other is still on 8.4.1. Initially I thought (and posted) that 9.3 was getting about the same battery life.

I was wrong.

Two days in (how's that for a long-term test? ;) ) it's looking like 9.3 is running longer.

Battery life is really bad for me
Woke up at 5am and at 630am I'm already at 81% smh
Should have stayed at 9.2.0
Performance is amazing at least
Seems fine for me, performance is great and battery life seems normal too - still lose 4% over night on the iPhone 6 Plus with the Apple Watch. You may need to leave it a while to finish indexing or run the battery down and do a charge cycle to recalibrate.

My 6S feels slower especially when scrolling down in Music or when i try to get into Wallpapers, I get a 1 second freeze. Also, when I close Settings for example from app tabs and get back to the home screen I get this wierd change of the screen luminosity for a second or so.

Personally to me I've got no lag no stutters. my battery life seems better I did say the other day it was to early to notice and it didn't help that I hadn't used it as much as what I would.

Today though seems the battery is better and I'm using it the same as what I would normally.

In the Messages app I am having some weird stutter.

Anyone wanna test?

Bring up the keyboard on a message, then slowly scroll down and up the message text to make the keyboard slide in and out of view - it has horrible stutter as the keyboard moves

Wouldn't expect the 6S to lag anyway, happening on my 5S.

Throw enough hardware at badly coded software and it seems fine - what worries me is that visually there is no difference between iOS8 and iOS9, yet iOS9 seems to stutter more - this is clearly just bad coding.

Cheers for testing!

It annoys me when people automatically blame the software update for battery issues when it's clearly the user's settings and data that are causing the issue, or even hardware.

It is rarely the software.

I haven't ever had battery issues with any version of iOS that I've ever used. Really.

So what can we check software wise?

I have a 6 and it was fine too-interesting as there isn't as big a difference between a 5s and 6 I thought?

I will pich in. It's fast, but:

1. AirDrop stopped working. Tried restoring cleanly and it still doesn't. Tried clean OS X and it still doesn't. Tried with other devices on different wifi networks. Completely broken.
2. Night Shift Sunset to Sunrise option is gone. All location services are On.
3. Hotspot broken again.
4. There is home screen stretching and squeezing when call bar or hotspot connection i active. The dots representing app pages go down behind the dock and then back up again. Wasn't in 9.2, but appeared in one of the 9.3 betas.

List goes on.
