Very surprised more people aren’t mentioning the tab viewer. I find the old rolodex viewer far far more intuitive and easier to use on a mobile device than the grid layout. I guess I’m in the minority.
I think that feature has been broken for most users more or less all of IOS14’s lifetime. So perhaps they just decided to drop it all together. The feature stopped working with IOS14 for me, and most people I know. The last open tabs from my IOS13 days are still the ones shown on my devices.I can’t find out.
If your browsing on your phone and leave tabs open and go on your iPad, How do you see what tabs are left open on your phone like you could on previous iOS versions
If you have a tab open and want a new tab you can swipe from right to left on the search\address bar area at the bottom and you get a new tab. You can then swipe either way on the same area to go between the two. Can’t really understand the purpose of the completely changed UI in Safari. It now takes three taps to get to a search bar. Am I missing something?
If you want to canibalize your existing tab no problem, but if you want to open a new tab what’s the deal?
Wasn’t it settled that tabs at the bottom were unpopular?

And there is no fix for it - even according to Apple.
I wouldn't say you are. Perhaps here amongst techies, but I've already had several comments to this effect from casual users.Very surprised more people aren’t mentioning the tab viewer. Not broken and a feature I use all of the time.I think that feature has been broken for most users more or less all of IOS14’s lifetime. So perhaps they just decided to drop it all together. So put it back at the top?Wasn’t it settled that tabs at the bottom were unpopular?

This is more befuddling than anything. On top of that, clicking the AA button lets you easily switch the address bar from top to bottom. It's not complicated.why is it taking you 3 taps to get to a search bar? you just press the address bar same as before?
Agree, not a fan of this right now. Makes no sense to me why so many clicks to get to folders. Can’t really understand the purpose of the completely changed UI in Safari. It now takes three taps to get to a search bar. Am I missing something?

Open a new tab on Safari on the iPhone. Scroll to the bottom (below Favorites, Frequently Visited, Shared with you, Privacy Report, Reading List, and you'll see currently open tabs on your other devices.I think that feature has been broken for most users more or less all of IOS14’s lifetime. I agree 100%. The new style is great on an iPad or in macOS, but I prefer the Rolodex style from Safari 14 on iOS. The old way was easier to navigate thru with one hand.Very surprised more people aren’t mentioning the tab viewer.
