I finished the update to OC 0.5.7 for the package. Before I update the post #1314, I put the package at here for some advance users to test it.

I double checked the package, all required update should be done. The idea is simple, replace the whole old EFI folder by this one.

Of course, you should backup your current working EFI folder. And have your recovery plan if anything goes wrong.

If you don't know what I am talking about, or how to perform this test, please skip this post, it's not for you. The package in post #1314 is fine for the current Mojave and Catalina, please use that. I will update the package in that post later.

Work for dual CPU Machine?

Test package V2. This one has the GUI boot picker (if work as expected)

Please let me know if you prefer this one, or the V1 in post #1521

yes just want to ask you if it can be option C as system
Which system? Normal macOS?

Anyway, that icon already inside the package in post #1534, you can duplicate that in the icons folder, and rename it to the options that you want. e.g. if you want that TM disk icon for macOS, then duplicate the os_clone.icns, and rename the clone to os_mac.icns.

Thanks! I have everything loaded with your newest version and the boot picker is working great. I also added the Titan Ridge to this OC.

One problem, and this was existing with OC 0.5.6 as well, I can't seem to get HEVC to work, H264 is working according to VideoProc. gpu is Radeon Vii

Did you every perform any HWAccel mode before? If yes, you must revert all files back to the original state, and remove Lilu + WEG from Library/Extensions.

And please double check if the iMac Pro board ID injection still in your config plist after your Titan Ridge mod.

Is there a way to have the Apple logo and progress bar bigger for UHD displays? The boot picker assets appear at the correct size (I'm using your option C for Time Machine) and then the Apple logo and progress bar appears very small due to my 4k display. Thanks so much!

Verify UIScale in your configuration.

hello everyone, I just signed up and I have read many pages of this thread as I have installed an rx580 in my mac pro 5.1 quad core with mojave 10.14.6 few days ago.

I would be interested in understanding the less invasive procedure for activating the hardware acceleration of the card ... it seems to me that there is a procedure that only enables the card acceleration and another that provides for the installation of a bootloader as well (but which seems a little more dangerous)
However, I cannot understand which guide to follow, if the one on the first page is old and there are new ones ... in short, I got lost in the thread. Could you help me?

I did not do HWAccell before but I did do Innie and some other things, truthfully it's been so long that I'm not sure what I have changed. I do have Lilu and WEG in Systems/Library/Extensions from those changes. I'm not sure exactly how to remove them correctly, this stuff is a bit over my head though I have been learning. I tried removing them but my computer stuck on the apple screen on reboot. I had to restart in a different os and replace them on my main os.

I did not touch your plist other than to add the few lines of Titan Ridge right at the beginning.

I also wanted to add that the only thing that I have noticed strange other than no HEVC is that during boot there is a short section of graphic artifacts right before the login screen.

Hi, welcome to the thread.
I think the most non-invasive method:
1. Lilu + WEG (you can find it in the first page -> the deprecated one not the open core one)
2. Open-Core -> you can find the link in the first page, here is for your convenience: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...n.2180095/page-53?post=28255048#post-28255048
Though it sounds / looks scary it has been tested by many people and I think pretty safe to do.

3. Changing the apple-ga framework -> this is the most invasive as you change the file itself.

Mount the EFI partition, open the config plist file that inside the OC folder by a text editor

search AQ==, replace that by Ag==

Is there no Reset NVRAM option in this solution?
I can put it back, but due to the native Apple boot manager has no such option, and no native icon for that one, so I removed it for those who want the boot picker as close to the native one as possible.

Remove Lilu and WEG in S/L/E, simply delete them should work.

That's not artifacts, but the transition from UEFI GOP to macOS driver.
