They are comfortable without glasses under them for me. Painful with oakleys.

I bought a open box Sky Blue for 466$. They were in excellent condition with the box and everything. They have great sound quality but are really quiet on max volume. I kind of expected more for something with a 549$ price tag.

Those were from BestBuy? I’m considering getting a pair as well - they seem as good as new condition?

Never planned on getting a pair due to the price but saw a "Used - Like new" on Amazon warehouse for 379 so figured why not :)

Can always return if I don't like them

I have returned mine to Apple in February, but bought them again in another store a month ago (20% cheaper). Like the sound very much, but they I feel the weight and my neck hurts after 1-2 hours when I have them over my head at the desk :( (they also get a bit warm but that is okay)
I am not sure this will go away, really love to use them for the audio-quality, but this neck-pain is not comfortable at all... I am a fit athletic person, no issue with posture or so, but maybe I have them setup wrongly, have tried various positions but none of them is really 100% (the best is when I sit down in the Ikea Strandmon chair and my head lays on the chair itself...)

Really sorry as this has probably been discussed and asked previously within this thread but there’s a lot to read through so…

Glasses users, are they comfortable? Do you feel they push too tight against your frames and cause pain/aches after a lengthy amount of use or even minimal use?

I wear glasses all the time. My AirPods Max are supremely comfortable with my glasses on. I can barely tell that I'm wearing the APM and have never had any discomfort. I've used my APM daily since January. (I adore my APM!)

Opinions differ. The size and type of your frames may make a difference. But, the memory foam in the ear cushions does adjust to your frames.

The only way to know is to try a pair.

Great thread!

Bumping to see if anyone’s views have changed after owning them for awhile.

Thinking about picking up the space grey when they are on sale.

Do it. I’ve had mine since launch and I absolutely love them. I use them every single day.

I was just thinking how good they sound when I was digging into my old favorites in Apple Music. I’ve had the headphones for awhile now, and they do not disappoint. I do have wired headphones with a couple of DAC/AMPs. So, I’m not easily impressed!

I just got mine today. Refused to pay full freight when they came out but between Amazon!s Black Friday price $130 off and an additional $150 to sign up for the new Amazon credit card figured why try them.
So far very impressed with the sound for music. Different - maybe richer sound than my APP that I love. Watched a movie with my glasses for almost 2 1/2 hours and my glasses didn’t bother me at all. Was amazed at the noise cancellation as my wife and her friends were playing Mah Jong and talking pretty loudly and could barely hear them.
Still not sure if I am going to keep them since my usage might be primarily watching my Apple TV. Have to see how much I actually use them but so far pretty impressed.

Heck, mine have saved me from some pretty crappy music in several coffee shops ?

Definitely experience some Dolby Atmos audio movies/shows before deciding for sure. I love enjoying movies at home with APM.
