"Sweat gate" does not bother me much but would be interesting to see what Apple has to say. Reading the comments it may look like a lot of owners notice it, but again people go to the internet to complain. Those who are happy just chill and listen to music. Anyway, I've just cancelled my order as the Christmas feeling wore off. It was for mid-February, so probably will not help much you getting a pair earlier.
I posted about finding some condensation after wearing mines for a couple hours. Did I want to return them? Nah. Just got apple care.

Apple must be cranking them out, at least some colors. I ordered (Space Gray) directly from the Apole Store with a mid-Feb expected delivery date, and just got notified that they are arriving tomorrow.

Space grey and silver is readily available across a lot of Apple stores in the UK. It’s the other colours that seem to be in very short supply for some strange reason and it doesn’t seem to be improving

If the headband of the blue model had been darker/navy blue, I would have gone for those, but it's just not a blue I really like.

I ordered SG from the Apple Store on 12/21 (7:30pm EST) with originally a Feb 18 delivery date. They just moved to "Preparing to Ship" this morning.

Anyone know approximately how long it takes to go from PtS to actually shipping?

Ooh interesting.

I ordered a pink pair on the 22nd with a similar estimated delivery. No movement yet, but I would assume there is less available stock of the pink due to them never popping up at Target so I wonder if mine would move up at all.

It's generally a quick turnaround from PFS to shipping

I can’t believe how difficult the Airpods Max are to get in the U.K given the price of them. Amazon doesn’t have them, Curry’s doesn’t have them, EE doesn’t have them, Argos doesn’t have them, 02 doesn’t have them. The Apple stores are no longer doing click and collect and the online U.K Apple store is February or March delivery. I have been trying every day all day for weeks and it’s driving me crazy. I have gift cards for Amazon, Curry’s and Argos. EE gives me a discount and 11 months interest free if I want so I would rather get them from any of these stores than the Apple store. The Scottish government is now talking about stopping all stores doing click and collect. Hopefully they will be worth the wait and I will get them eventually.

I know we are experiencing a global tragedy and waiting for headphones is not a problem when so many people are suffering.

Hello! Long time lurker, first time poster.

I have an order in with Apple for a sky blue pair. Placed on Dec 11 with an initial delivery estimate of 12-14 weeks. About a week after, they updated the delivery estimate to Feb 18 - Mar 4. Anyone else in this boat?

I'm glad to see others who have placed orders after mine seeing movement. It gives me hope... haha! But not gonna lie, I'm a little annoyed since it feels like we're being skipped over just cause we chose a coloured one.

I wish that were true in my part of the UK. 8-10 week wait, although in typical Apple fashion, I expect that to shorten at some point.

Fingers crossed for you. You would think at this point they would be at the point where the adjustments for allocation of color based on demand would have made their way through the supply chain, but you never know.

Same. My order went from mid March to early February to shipped.
I get an alert on my phone that a charge from Apple was made. I was like did some steal my info then I get an email that it shipped 🤷‍♂️

I ordered pink as well right around that time. Just got my 3.5mm cable (white) today... so sad to not be able to plug it in yet

yeah, i feel like this has changed since lockdown. nothing showing in the south east/london.

i was initially against getting a pair based on the price. however, after reading reviews, i’ve changed my mind and have been trying for the past few days too. many of the same sites, will post in here if i have any luck! i did see earlier in the thread that john lewis had some last weekend, but by the time i saw, they only had silver left (i’m after space grey).

yeah I am the same, hunt around online looking for someone with stock. apple must have serious logistics or manufacturing issues, when stock has arrived in apple or 3rd party it only seemed to be sg or silver as well. noticed homepod minis same cant get them. anyway good hunting to everyone. The virus is out of control in the uk now so online is our best hope for a while.

Check JL for HomePod mini, they get in stock from time to time.
