I do not really want to order from AT&T since have you heard that AT&T is is racing the price for the grandfathered Unlimited Data Plan $5.00 from $35 to now $40. I do not want to give at&t. So that is one reason I order from Apple
Placed order with AT&T today (1-12-17) at 10:34am EST, shipment notification at 1:59pm EST. FedEx says delivery by 1-13-17 with expedited shipping.

Placed an order with Apple on December 19th, shipping in 6 weeks with delivery on 5th Feb.
Card charged today, and prepping for shipment. Should arrive in the next 4-5 days.
Meanwhile Target decided to ship using UPS Mail Innovations, which appears to be extremely slow. I had ordered on Saturday. Its still on its way.
Probably return one of these.

Looks like Target is in stock for delivery by 1/20. Just placed an order while I try to find one locally at Apple.
Post on Craigslist for $200 and just give it a day or two. You might make a few bucks.
Been casually keeping an eye out for opportunities to buy some AirPods sooner than Apple's 6-week estimates. Signed up for B&H's "notify when available" about 3 weeks ago. Got a notice Wednesday evening (1/11) that they were "available for pre-order" so I immediately placed the order, expecting it would still be a few more weeks before they shipped. Turns out they shipped yesterday and arrived this morning. But looking at their site now, it looks like they are once again "backordered", so I guess they only got a limited number in.
Glad to hear this, as I bought mine on 12/19 as well. I haven't seen any charges or updates yet, but hopefully mine will ship very soon.
I have been getting $225 per pair on Craigslist. Made enough to buy and keep a pair myself
you did order after after me since I ordered on the 17th Dec, 2016, and says 6 weeks and mine should be delivered on Feb. 7 2017, so I hope I get a email soon

Just keep checking their websites/apps. I believe they receive stock on a regular basis. If you don't see "out of stock", that means its in stock and ready to ship immediately.

...And shipped. Took a little longer than I expected to move from preparing to ship, but it shows delivery on the 17th of Jan. Much earlier than the estimate, just as I had expected based on other posters.

May conctact them and ask if I can order from Verizon but I still gotta wait since its 4am
Kinda off topic but the same thing is happening with the new Fire tv stick, amazon has no stock, but Best Buy and others do while eBay has them selling at an amazing price increase.
Currently BestBuy has $25 off $100 by using Visa Checkout. This also stacks with the $10 off any purchase that some BB members are receiving in their email. This seems to be the cheapest so far if you wanted AirPods although it is currently on backorder.
