I had ordered online through Bestbuy, Apple and AT&T last week. The only one that has even bothered to try and charge my card yet is AT&T. But no change in status, just says processing. Apple and Bestbuy have March shipping dates. Neither Bestbuy or Apple have even tried putting a temporary charge on my card, just AT&T.

As long as the package is under 16" it's machineable, it has a 80% chance of making it to you undamaged and on time.
I guess we'll find out for sure tomorrow if none of our orders ship. I'll probably wait until next Saturday to give it a full week before I cancel it. My Apple order isn't supposed to be here until March 2nd, so I can wait and see.
I think like some ppl said here, just cause AT&T shows it as still available doesn't mean it will ship this week. It just means they are able to take orders so that when they get them, they will ship out. Same thing Bestbuy and Apple are doing. Only difference is Apple and Bestbuy are more upfront and give you a def ship date. AT&T just says they will let you know when it ships out. That's it.
How far away is it for you? And do you knowhow long does it usually take for the store to inventory the stock as actually available? For my local Apple Store at least, they opened at 10am, however stick did not appear available until about 30-45min after the store opened. Maybe try signing up for stock notifications from @iStockNow and going in as well just in case?

Sure thing i just placed an order from them after talking to their CS, they verified they do have them in stock I highly doubt they would lie to me and believe I asked multiple times for him to verify he said if it wasn't available the add to cart button will be Greyed out
These are just headphones after all I'm not holding my breath or stressing over this, if it arrives this week good

I've been told by the latest AT&T rep that they were *actually* in stock, and that they would be shipping out shortly.
But then again, a rep yesterday told me they were out of stock. I'm not sure they really know. As others have said, I can't imagine AT&T is sitting on enough stock to hold for the entire weekend.

Why would the chat reps lie that they are actually in stock then? Doesn't make much sense and unethical

THIS. Take what AT&T says with a grain of salt. The rep for spoke to was going off of what ever website showed, which is no different than what I can see myself. If everywhere else sells out instantly, I find it hard to believe AT&T has that many, sounds like they're just taking as many orders and it'll be processed in the order received. That being said, those who ordered early Friday after alerts went out, probably have the best chance of receiving them within the week...hopefully.
Well, I don't mean to suggest that they're being unethical Just that they really don't know the reality of what's going on. I don't see that they have anything to gain either way.. Just misinformed/not informed.
Hey everyone- so like many of you, I was late on ordering and tried to order with Apple January 31 with a March 20 ship date. Then, I sort of lucked out Friday and happened to check IStockNow the exact moment the Att site lit up with stock and got my order in a bit before the stock alert was actually emailed out, just by a moment or so. (2:09 pm ET). Then, I lucked out when I found stock at a New Jersey Apple store (about an hours drive from me) and was able to order two online for pickup. I would recommend keeping all orders placed, including Att orders even though they are sketchy, and only cancel an order once either an order actually ships or you are able to go to a store. Going to a store would obviously be ideal, but I can add after having them for two days, the sound quality is actually surprisingly good (although you look/feel a bit silly), I have no buyers remorse with this purchase so I am holding out hope for you all! Keep it and go to your local store tomorrow. If you snag a pair in store, cancel your AT&T order.
I'm fairly certain all the rep is doing is referring to what the website says, and that's the same thing we see.
Not saying he's wrong, but that's most likely what he's seeing.

I asked him specificly to verify and not just look on the website and I told him I don't want to recieve and email saying the item is delayed and he assured me I won't and that I will have the item in 3-5 days
I ordered AirPods from Apple on 30 December and my status changed today from "Processing Items" to "Preparing for Shipment" My delivery date is still listed as "Delivers 17 Feb, 2017 by 2-3 Business Days".
It sure sounds like they are just stacking orders and will ship them out as soon as they get them in. If this is the case (which I am sure it is), it's too bad they aren't being up front about it.
They are likely going by allocation numbers and what they know is coming to them on the next order. They've probably been alerted that the shipment is on its way, but may or may not be in their physical inventory.

thats not what their Chat CS are saying, i just finished a chat this morning with a different Chat rep and they are saying item is in physical stock and believe me i asked multiple times in multiple ways, i really hope it is true and i will have the item this week as the CS rep claims, i spoke to 4 different CS Reps to be certain, they all claim the item is in physical stock otherwise it would be greyed out on the site
This is great news. I had also chatted with ATT as well, and got the same information as most. They are confirming that after they verify the order, the items will ship. I spoke with 3 different reps explicitly and they all had the same info to share.

How long does that take? I ordered mine through Att 3 days ago. Still says processing. Not sure how long it takes to verify an order.
