Those of you who haven't yet got charged don't think you won't. You will at some point. I had a similar experience with an Apple order in the past and they charged me after I had the product delivered.

I have no doubt I'll be charged but I am interested to know what happens if those payments fail... when the product has been delivered.

They really have. The hate pre sale was a bit strong.

"The price"-actually inline with TRUE WIRELESS alternatives. The £ for $ match is a little galling though.
"Look weird"- look the same as EarPods minus wires, what's the big deal.
"Sound crap"- NO THEY DONT. They actually sound better and louder then EarPods.

If you own an Apple Watch-the set up is super sweet for volume control etc.
Pretty cheap in my opinion. Looking at other good Bluetooth earphones, from the likes of Beats and Bang and Olufsen, and AirPods are cheaper!

Also regarding the dollar parity - it's not as bad as it seems. Take off the 20% VAT that is included and it's just under $164 dollars here, compared to their $159 pre-tax price (unless I've totally messed up the maths).

I'm sure there is a system in place to prevent them from getting your payment. They would have already checked your account and probably initiated the process and the bank is probably obliged to release payments which they will in turn deal with the customer to get back.

I believe the transaction still goes through even if you've maxed out your overdraft, so you will just get beef from the bank - Apple will still get their money.

They look nice.

I could have sworn I saw a sort of diagram of a truck with my driver's delivery status on the UK Mail tracker, but now I can't get it to show up. Any ideas?

I've had it up all day, but just now when I pressed refresh it disappeared! Did yours disappear quite close to delivery? I was at 92 out of 98 when I last checked.

Gotta love how these things sync

Even easier, if you use the sound icon in the menu bar:

Nope, disappeared ages ago!

Doesn't matter mind, they're here!

Well I'm reluctantly coming to the conclusion that I won't be getting mine today given that they've been sitting in DPD's Southwark depot "ready for delivery" since 5.45am today. Delivery is to a business address so if they don't start moving soon then I'm guessing it ain't gonna happen...

Probably too late to say now but DPD have a good app.

As well as detailed tracking info and a driver location map. It allows you to keep track of previous deliveries and when they came.

So if you buy more Apple stuff next year, you'll remember when it arrived!

I wasn't actually using them, was showing it to prove how simple it is to connect to them

I've plugged mine in and it doesn't show the case as charging? Do I have a faulty case? Anyone else seen this?

Just found out another brilliant thing about these, when you are on your iPad and watching a TV show or something, take one out it pauses it, put it back in and whatever you were watching starts playing again :)

It seems to be very picky about what you plug it into. In my car even though it will charge the phone it won't charge the case. The main plug does though. Weird. It may be my cable I'll have a look later

You have to be in the app to use the crown as a volume control but thats not an issue as its so quick and easy.
When my watch rang, a green handoff button appeared on my watch screen and i just pressed it and the call transferred straight to the Pods. If i take the pods out of my ears, it disengages them and the call remains with my watch or i can hand off to my phone

Great, thanks for the info!
