I’ve had this happen sporadically and seemingly randomly over the last couple years. All good last night though.

Honestly super interesting to see how widely this seems to be affecting at least the folks on the forum here. My 13 mini on 17.0.3 did not reboot, and I haven't seen any behavior similar to what others are describing in the past. Really interesting behavior at seemingly a fairly wide scale though.

Probably not relevant but my iPhone 8 running 16.7 did not reboot on its own. Have never seen that happen, or seen a gap in my battery history.

My phone was in sleep focus all day after it happened, I just noticed and changed it back.
had that happen on my 13PM this morning, and have that battery charging gap. can't remember whether I had to enter passcode though ...

Looks like mine did too. I did think it was weird when it asked for my passcode this morning like it does after a restart instead of faceid working.

My 15 Pro did this night before last. I thought it was just a fluke, but looks like a larger issue. Last night it was fine. We'll see how it goes tonight.

My wife's 14 Pro was on a charger overnight and didn't come out of Sleep Focus this morning and the battery charge graph looks those those above (nothing until the phone was unlocked).

My 14 Pro did not reboot but it was not on a charger overnight.

iPhone 12 mini running iOS 17.0.3, no reboot. The phone was plugged into its nightly charger, as usual. 🖐️

Okay go on record has this happened to you? if so has it been since the start of Ios 17 or just recently in the last few days, or possibly just monday night? I think there needs to be a full investigation on this to get down to the root of the issue.

Ohh wow exact same happened to mine as well last night, 14PM running iOS 17.0.3.
Same battery gap and passcode was required due to reboot.

WOW spooky o_O
