Ok so after reading this thread yesterday I didn’t have the issue but my phone did restart last night and mine seemed to be the longest of everyone else.

I don't charge at night so can't tell if there was.

What's the easiest way to see the last time my phone rebooted? I tried reading through the analytics logs and found the ones for the dates I care about (man, they could arrange those better), but didn't find indications of restarts. Surely there's a better way or, if not, a clue as to how to find it in those logs.

A big German tech new site heise.de has also reported on the issue, I think Apple will have to make a statement.

Problem is that the sim card pin was also required, so you could not receive any phone calls in case of emergency.

My iPhone 15 Pro on iOS 17.0.3 had rebooted yesterday morning too, left overnight on an Apple MagSafe charging. Passcode and SIM unlock PIN required when I woke up.

My wife's iPhone 14 Pro did not reboot.

My work phone (SE 2) rebooted last night and was off per the battery graph between around 2:00am and 8:00am.

My 14 Pro stayed on. Both on 17.0.3.

interesting…happened to leave my phone in an Uber rather late last night and it was showing up on Find My as offline—wonder if this had anything to do with it. I had to enter my passcode once the phone was returned to me, but I figure(d) that’s because the driver/other passengers looked at it one too many times.

Nope, definitely did not happen to me. Was it Facebook that got caught purposely draining people's iPhone batteries, just cause? Probably an evil Zucubus.

I’ve never seen this on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. I leave it on an Apple MagSafe charger overnight in Standby mode.

I've had my 15 Pro Max 10 days now, and it's never rebooted at night. Running 17.0.3

My 15 Pro on 17.0.3 rebooted - noticed when the backlight popped on while charging on my nightstand.

No reboots here (Austria) in the last few days.
iPhone XS, XS Max, 12 Pro Max, 13 Pro Max, 15 Pro
All running iOS 17.0.3 and charged over night.

I don’t usually have my devices plugged in overnight, but last night my iPad happened to be, and lo and behold, it exhibited the same behavior others have reported. Prompted me before I could unlock it this morning, and the battery graph shows the usual multi-hour gap. iPadOS 17.0.3.
