The dvi - Hdmi adaptor I'm using it (is the same as I used with rx580)... for the screen sharing instead?

Ok, use the MacBook proTest via screen sharing from another Mac, use a DVI to HDMI adapter, etc.

Use different outputs from the GPU, some cards don't have all the outputs working.
Search a tutorial on how to enable screen sharing, see how it's done, you can do even via SSH.Ok, use the MacBook pro
I turned on the laptop, but I don't know how to connect to the Mac Pro, I M on the Wi - fi himself, but in the Mac Pro I think that file didn't work

If you don't know how to use ssh, install a working GPU and enable it manually:
SystemPreferences>Sharing>Screen Sharing
What can I do?
Connect the other 8pin as well. The card is NOT designed to be powered with just one 8pin.
Even though I'm using it with the switch in savings mode?
Correct, as general rule, ALWAYS connect ALL the aux power pins unless the manual says they are optional.
Another dual mini Mini 6 pin to 8 pin?
No, another 8pin FEMALE -> dual 6+2pin

Update:
With a good cable I had managed to get her to leave.
At least I have confirmation that it works.
For the wires, I have to do something cleaner.
There is reason to use that cables combination. Which is balance the power draw between the mini 6pins.
The card not necessary draw power evenly from the 8pins. Better to balance them by ourselves, in order to avoid over stressing one of the mini 6pin.
I really don't know, I got my cable from China for just $2 (I am in Hong Kong).Last thing please: can you give me a link maybe amazon (I'm in Italy) where you can get that cable you have?

I don't know what's the cheapest way for you to get such cable locally / on the net.
There are plenty of options on the net. e.g. This one
YUYUQ PCI-E 8Pin Female to Dual 8Pin(6+2) Male Graphics Video Card Power Supply Cable
YUYUQ PCI-E 8Pin Female to Dual 8Pin(6+2) Male Graphics Video Card Power Supply Cablewww.amazon.com
However, I don't know if that's too expensive for you (mostly because of shipping) or you have to wait for a long time (e.g. form AliExpress).
But I am sure some others can give you more hints. Plenty of members here buy this kind of cable on the net.
Questions
- Will the above card allow me to simply swap out the old one and upgrade straight into Catalina?
- is my Mac too old to make the desired upgrades, or is the fact it is showing as 5,1 after the firmware upgrade, mean it is possible?
- I read about a need to delidd the CPUs, but given the CPUs in my Mac have already been upgraded by the eBay seller I got it from, is that covered already?
- I’ve read that I’d need to get 6- 8 pin cables for the Sapphire Pulse graphics card mentioned above, does anyone have a link to good ones to get?
1) NO it is not OOB plug and play, you will have to upgrade your firmware; the latest is 144.0.0.0.0 for the MP 5,1. If for some odd reason you already have this installed-then yes it should be plug and play. (Check your current firmware in About this Mac>System Report>Hardware Overview>Boot ROM Version). Catalina is not officially supported for the 5,1-you can only get that new OS with using a patch. Mojave is the final supported MacOS for the 5,1.
See here for further firmware instruction: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/mp5-1-bootrom-thread-144-0-0-0-0.2132317/
2) No it is not too old. Yes it is possible once your firmware has been updated.
3) Don't worry about this-some of us have been running lidded CPU's for a while-not a major concern since you are already operational.

Vulkan 1.2 launched. NVIDIA is first.
First one would have to talk about Apple supporting Vulkan.Does that have any bearing on the compatibility of NVIDIA cards in Mac Pro's going forward?
