FYI some of those 87+ wifi devices are well over a decade old. The eMachines tower is from 2008; Galaxy Note 10.1 from 2012; Xbox One (O.G.) from 2014, PlayStation 4 from 2013, and so on and so on.
Come to think of it, it might be due to that! Mixed stuff some from the 802.11A era to the AC era. Also, what the hezmona is this 'Wifi 6' I keep hearing about (actually being advertised at walmart on stuff like tablets/phones. I guess it's another thing I'll be happy to avoid. I'm guessing it's a device with 6 wifi antennas inside it or 6 wifi adapters? Gosh if this is how far gone I am now, I don't think I want to live to be 80 years old.
Today was one of the worst days. Oh, my router didn't die this time. I think I finally fixed it (disabled IPv6. Why is that even a thing? Ever since Vista it only succeeded in killing or slowing my internet down!) But today I had the most frustrating day with my S20 FE. I **HATE** gesture navigation so much!! What problem was removing buttons and forcing odd gestures for everything supposed to solve? Honestly what?! I inadvertently opened Samsung Pay twice, when I tried to go to recents, it went home AGAIN, and to top it all off, the swipe at the bottom that's supposed to swap between your two most recent apps remains broken to this day, always swiping to an app that hasn't been used for over a week! I know I can go to on-screen buttons but even they don't fix the issue that removing home, back, recents (or menu) could. What is with the war on buttons anyway? To make phones more about showing fancy crap to your teenage friends and alienating older folks?! I'm couldn't care less about impressing people around me I just want my phone to do what I tell it to! Heck, I might have to start telling Google Assistant or Bixby to do everything. Perhaps that's the point?
I honestly wanted to pop the SIM into my HTC Thunderbolt again. That's how angry I was today. If I didn't rely on certain things like smart watches or a couple of modern apps like Samsung Pay, That's probably what I would have done.
