Its out for delivery with UPS

You will see it on the Apple tracking.woohoo mine's been moved to UPS too - guess its a race to the finish line sax although im at work, so i wont know until i get home. im not sure whether to hope my flatmates are at home or not...I think I hope they are, we wants it, precious, we wants it!
Update: Out for delivery too! Hope they DO attempt today, can pick it up this afternoon

you all seem to have better luck than me! ordered on the 24th a couple of hours after the store came back up...and its only just left shanghai

does the 9th mean thats when it should get to the uk???
its get to be merged with a printer in daventry then on to me apparently. expected delivery date has now slipped back to 16th! was 13th! so much for 5 days as it said when i ordered - looks like it will be nearer 3 weeks!
Yeah, I think that last date is the date its expected to arrive @ Flextronics, Daventry for either distribution or merge in transit. After that date, maybe 1 or 2 more days before the courier will take it to you.
but my apple page said eta=9th while apecode said eta@daventry = 3rd, but it looks like I might get it today. I think 2 days after you see "truck arrived at final destination" on apecode appletrack, its likely to be with you.
They told me 3-7 days for shipping...but didnt tell me that was on top of time to build it. Kind of devious...I wouldn't have cared if they said it will take up to 10 working days, but when they get your hopes up that it could be with you after 3 days its kind of disappointing.

Ape gives me delivered now. I guess that means the MBP is at Daventry, where my Printer and iwork will join it and I'll get tomorrow. Still no update on Apple's pages. No courier info and no tracking number.
Jan, whats your ETA on the apple page? You should beat it by a day or 2...if its at Daventry today you may well get it tomorrow - good luck, hope you do!
Yesterday my apple page updated to say courier was Keuhne & Nagel, but changed again to say UPS. I figured it would be 1 more day, but UPS website says that its out for delivery. Apecode only changed my status to say it was at Daventry on Monday the 6th, but I think it was really there on Friday 3rd.

Also the apple site today (7th) updated the est. delivery date from 9th to the 6th! Nice one Apple!
I do now know that Walsh Western are the carriers. Anyone know how to track stuff from them? You need a tracking number AND a customer number. Would like to know when it's coming so I don't miss it.

Apple did the same to me yesterday - updated from the 9th, to the 3rd (which was in the past!!). I think it means thats the delivery to the distribution centre - today it updated the ETA to be the 7th (ie today)....so if yours is doing the same thing, maybe yours will update for delivery tomorrow?
I dont know how to track with walsh western, but you could try putting your reference into google and seeing which page it brings up (apparently that works for TNT traffic).
Looks like we are getting close now. My Apple status has finally changed. ETA of yesterday(!) and courier Walsh Western. Hopefully, UPS will get it later today and they'll kindly pop it in my hands tommorow. Life as an optimist is so pleasant!

Well mine finally arrived today, though I am on the west coast of America so I can't get my mits on it till next week. The original date quoted for delivery was the 9th so I suppose they have done ok, the info on the tracking site was pants though.
The tracking deal we get in the UK is bollocks. You're lucky if the damn code they give you even works.

So annoyed, it came at a good time, 11.45am, my brother was still sleeping so they have taken it back to the depot to be delivered tomorrow, and no one is in tomorrow. Argh, im not happy.
I rearranged a delivery for tomorrow between 10-12, since i dont have college untill the afternoon (pushing it though) so im staying at home. She said it shouldnt be a problem but they cant promise it will come in that time.
What spec did you get Aaron? 120GB HDD? If so, what model?

Have to say TNT are one of the worst del companies ive ever delt with. Their online tracker is really very bad. Mine is due tomorrow and its last scan was in Arnhem. I really hope its here tomorrow, as I rang earlier and was told it was in the UK and will be delivered between 5 and 9 PM tomorrow, which seem a bit late to me. Will ring tomorrow morning to confirm, as int call centre is closed.

Where are you based in engand? Im in Brighton, so it wouldnt really make sense for it to travel all the way up to Northampton for me and back down to Brighton. Maybe they are transporting mine directly to the London or Crawley depot for delivery?
