2.0 is infact ready for download on Apple's servers! Enjoy! *might be old.. I don't know* :D

I THOUGHT about checking there but realized it wouldn't be on as it hadn't been released through iTunes yet. Well thanks for that! Bizarre iTunes isn't offering the update tho.... I'll have to wait for someone to jailbreak it now though.... or maybe even stab it myself :)

The entry on Macrumors says you can't access the store without a link...

Not sure if anyone has posted this, but at the bottom of the Applications section in iTunes 7.7 is a "Get more Applications" link. Now everyone has access :)

I posted about that on page 8 of this thread. No worries. Even made a short posting on the App Store forum.

Iphone could not be restored, an unknown error occurred (1)

Now what do I do?

The file you downloaded could be corrupt (happens to me with the iPhone SDK all the freakin' time).

Connect iPhone, click "Restore" and update back to 1.1.4 from there - or grab the 1.1.4 firmware from Apple's site (same place as where you got 2.0 from), option/click and select the downloaded 1.1.4 firmware and install. Either way will restore you with 1.1.4

Now if you jailbroke your iPhone, you'll have to jailbreak it again with 1.1.4 after you restore it.

WTH? I just updated itunes to 7.7 and now I cant access the itunes store. I was just there 5 minutes ago before updating.

Seems that you're right. Though, in the US, you can search for Apps if you know their names. I was able to download Remote.ipa and AIM.ipa...

Well I downloaded iTunes and then clicked a link on the MR main page (Super Monkey Ball) and they just navigated back to the App Store via the buttons at the top. I have to say tho - this is TORTURE!!!! I'm sitting here at work and can't download anything to the phone but I'm sitting here looking at the games and other stuff I can use as soon as I get home.

Hmm - I think I'm coming down with a cough, maybe I need a half day ;) hahaha

Yeah, my productivity is shot for the day. No getting around that. Hopefully there're some good productivity apps in the store. :)

If you click on the Applications folder on the left in iTunes, in the window that opens, there is a link that will take you to the Apps store in iTunes.
