Yeah, I forgot about that. That would have been nice. All I wanted is WIRELESS CHARGING, Appleeee!!!!
Is that so hard to give?????????
Im so upset but My bank account is smiling. He said he is saved for this year. lol

I’ll let you know how useless the M4 is compared to my M1 next time I batch process hundreds of 40MP Raws in Lightroom. Bring on the faster Buggati. My criticism is directed toward Apple and other hardware manufacturers. They don't put everything they've developed into each release. They hold back innovations and features for future sales, creating an artificial market. They also encourage sales of new products by withholding software features on older hardware which is capable of supporting them.
I'm not suggesting Apple change the volume of manufacture. However, they should only manufacture new products that have a meaningful feature set over the previous generation. With the new iPad Pro, they are putting a faster Bugatti engine on a system that runs a phone OS. OS features need to scale with the hardware.
That’s them hiding burn-in, not avoiding it.This is what Apple said about how they avoid burn in on OLED iPhone's...
"We’ve engineered the Super Retina and Super Retina XDR displays to be the best in the industry in reducing the effects of OLED “burn-in”. This includes special algorithms that monitor the usage of individual pixels to produce display calibration data. Your iPhone uses that data to automatically adjust the brightness levels for each pixel as needed to reduce visual effects from “burn-in” and to maintain a consistent viewing experience.”

Just did the exact same thing.Just traded in my M1 12.9 for a M4 11in + I had £94 credit so all together £470 for me. Not too bad if I say myself, I definitely wanted a more portable iPad.
OLED pixels might be slightly smaller or the panel might be slightly larger. Also, why both Pro models now have a slightly higher pixels count?
OMG... Just admit that you wrote "processor" when you meant "iPad" and move on already. Your statement, as modified thus, would be entirely reasonable. The processors are designed for bursty workloads… the various power management and sleep/idle states suggest so. This enables great performance and high efficiency, especially for mobile applications.
Processors have been designed for bursty workloads like this for years.
The vast majority of consumer workloads are bursty in nature.
The SoC and cooling solution are optimized for the most common workload the user is expected to perform.
It's a 13" display vs 12.9 @ the same pixel density.OLED pixels might be slightly smaller or the panel might be slightly larger.
Ill give you 100 for your old ipad instead of that pity trade in valueJust did the exact same thing.
This is nitpicking. Ive seen all sorts on here… people are human and the intention on here is for sharing of thoughts…opinions, and to be kind and foster a pleasant environment. You can disagree with me and thats fine… but persisting wanting a confession out of someone is a bit extreme.OMG... Just admit that you wrote "processor" when you meant "iPad" and move on already. Your statement, as modified thus, would be entirely reasonable.
You can truthfully say that processors are "designed for bursty workloads" if by that you mean that they integrate power management, sleep/idle, etc. Fair enough. But the clear implication of your original statement, in context, was that they were *not* designed for sustained performance. Here's a link, in case you need a reminder.
So do I. But if you're on a website on your iPad and it requires you scan a document, surely you'd do it with the device you're already holding?I use my iPhone for that too. It is lighter
But that pencil only charges through alignnment with those magnets. How would you charge it?Some have suggested it has to do with location of magnets.
But that would simply mean you can’t charge the Pencil. I would think you could still write with it? 🤷
I never said I was "frustrated" with Apple. It's just the Reality Distortion Field doesn't extend to physics...and that phone bent for a lot of people just from being in their back pocket. After it happened twice I stopped putting it in my back pocket. Luckily Apple took care of me. We had had no reference for that in the past with regards to behavior on where NOT to put it...my iPhone-iPhone 5S never had that issue. And clearly, it was a thing-the iPhone 6S was thicker.
So the 11” display is also slightly bigger too? Maybe 11.1” like the rumors were saying? It's a 13" display vs 12.9 @ the same pixel density.
Hmm I didn't look at the specs because I've only ever bought the bigger version. So the 11” display is also slightly bigger too? Maybe 11.1” like the rumors were saying?
When I worked at the Apple Store as a seasonal employee in 2022 I would tell people that the iPad and Mac were each better at certain things than the other. You CAN do a LOT with the iPad that you can do on a Mac...but not everything. I would say there is an argument that having both for different reasons (if one can afford it) is ideal. But if someone said they did't want both and wanted one I'd direct them to a Mac to avoid the inevitable compromises inherent in padOS.I love this machine with M423 processor, with the 800" screen, the Rolls Royce price and the... crappy operating system.
Having lived through Bendgate I'll pass...the 15 Pro Max is the most gorgeous evolution of the 4S/5/5S and IMHO the ideal form factor (always want as thin of bezels as possible thoughI hope the new iPhone could be this thin as well. Especially the iPhone Plus.
Then you would eventually just come whining about Touchgate because you accidentally touch the screen all the time while holding it. You will probably also make a "holding it wrong" joke, that we will all laugh about, reminiscing about that special time in our lives.Having lived through Bendgate I'll pass...the 15 Pro Max is the most gorgeous evolution of the 4S/5/5S and IMHO the ideal form factor (always want as thin of bezels as possible though)
Aww. Do you need a hug? Then you would eventually just come whining about Touchgate because you accidentally touch the screen all the time while holding it. You will probably also make a "holding it wrong" joke, that we will all laugh about, reminiscing about that special time in our lives.
