In my first interview, start day would be "sometime in May" and then 2nd & 3rd interview they gave me the start date of May 18th.

My recruiter told me June or July...he did not specify a certain date..do they do that after the background check?

I asked the recruiter during the offer call and was told the start date. im also in the 6/8 graveyard chat class and waiting on my BGC.

Graveyard chat advisors!!!

Congratulations to all of yall! They must be ramping up the insominiac shifts lol. My new hire paperwork is on its way to them and Im stoked to get started!

Are they hiring any other positions right now? I'm mostly seeing seeing us night shift chat supporters. Anyone on phones or email support recently hired other than rokrchik and TamRUH?

I'm graveyard chat as well! And yes insomniac shift for sure! I can't wait to start and sleep all day lol. I heard they give lots of OT options from a friend of mine who works AHA. He sometimes works just 4 ten hour shifts instead of 5 days a week! Which I think is totally awesome! AND they give schedules 6 months in advance, which makes it easy to plan a good work/life balance!

No updates

Hi Guys,

I've had my initial phone interview done on 8th April.

Then I had the Skype interview done on the 27th April. Interview went pretty well. The interviewer told me the next step would be to have a virtual meetings with prospective employees (anonymously) and will basically a walk-through on what to expect with the job / responsibilities.

No updates since 27th April.

Anyone here had to wait after the Skype interview? I am now beginning to get a little worried.

LEO

What do you mean anonymously? None of my interviews were like that. Did you apply directly with Apple or through a contractor?

The guy who I had the skype interview with, he said there will be other candidates in a virtual meeting, but you won't know who they are, they might have an alias or something.

I applied directly, but haven't heard back from the ANZ recruitment team since my last skype interview.

Had a friend get the call on Friday. Does not want to post on here because of the post about people getting fired. Her question is she was offered the job based on BGC. However they have not received anything from Hireright. Any suggestions or how long after call did everyone get Hireright email. Thanks

I've been trolling this thread for a while now.

I just had my final interview. I feel it went well and the interviewer was smiling quite a bit.

When we got to the role play questions they said they would stop me when they thought they'd seen what they needed.

the role plays went well with a lot of "awesome" responses which I'm hoping is good.

Interview seemed to fly by but was actually about 45 minutes. I got the "you'll hear from us soon" and when I asked was told 7-10 days and that if I didn't hear from them in 7-10 days that it wasn't "anything to freak out about". Should I be freaking out as in happy freak out or freaking out as in "whops I messed up" LOL

I'm so nervous right now that I feel like I could throw up

Congrats! It sounds like it went really well! It sounds like they're doing most of their calls on Friday so here's hoping you don't have to wait too long :) I'd bet you're a shoe-in, for sure! :apple:

Thanks I'm still really nervous about it. The role play questions lasted maybe thirty seconds tops. I was a lot less nervous with this one than I was with the others. It would be so awesome to be out of retail and just focus on making people happy and getting their stuff to work. Although it's kind of confusing, originally I was in for the cpu side and she told me today that it was for iOS.

I wouldn't worry about it. I got my call late Friday and didn't get my HireRight e-mail until midday today. I'm guessing she has hers by now, too.

I got my call midday Friday and still have not received my background check email. Makes me nervous

I submitted my background check on 4/29 and it is still in process...should I be concerned? They haven't asked for any supporting documents and my current employer used the same company , but it only took 3 days

I applied originally on the 18th and again on the 25th and haven't heard anything. My friend who is also an aha recommend me and still haven't heard anything. Kind of disappointed but I think I need to come to terms with I may not be what they're looking for. I guess ill try again in a few months and start applying for other companies in the meantime. It's a shame too cause I think I would have done well at this job. Anyone else not hear anything AT ALL?

I have also not heard anything at all. I applied for multiple day shift chat positions over the past few weeks. From what I've been reading, it seems like they are only looking for graveyard shift right now.

That's what I'm starting to gather as well. Hopefully they will start calling others after these current classes get started but like I said going to continue on with a mind set they aren't going to call. Then maybe they will. Isn't that the way these things normally work? :)

Hello! I will be starting on the June 1st graveyard chat training class. Thank you to all who have posted here on the forums and described how the interview process works!

Congratulations!! How long did your background check take?

I heard from a friend it's pretty unusual to start people in CPU. Pretty much everyone ends up in iOS to begin with, but you can move pretty quickly if you do good work.

I had a background check through HireRight with my current employer, and that took about 5 days. I think Apple told me it takes 3 days to a week to process, though I'm pretty excited to get mine back, too!

Are you doing graveyard chat too?
