I had to do the 2 chats in that small box too, and it was a little tight. I'm going to hope for the best for you. It seems like with some recruiters, they're hard to read and you just never know. Hang in there.

When you say two chats in the small box, do you mean you were talking two different "customers" within the same chat window or what? I'm sure if I had done this before, it would make a ton more sense.

So, it would appear that after we are hired on with Apple - I'm pretty optimistic at this point - then due to the NDA (non disclosure agreement), we are going to have to cease from accessing Mac Rumors Forums. I read one post toward the beginning of this thread that stated someone actually got fired because they didn't comply.

Can anyone validate this? I'm thinking I'm going to go through and delete all of my posts just to be on the safe side when I'm hired on.

Hey everyone!

Got my official welcome email today. As such I won't be on here much if at all anymore.

I wish all of you the VERY BEST in your search and in getting hired with Apple!

The advice and info on this thread has been invaluable to me and I can't thank all of you that have contributed enough!

When I get hired on, it'll be largely due to the kind advice from this forum. Kudos to MacRumors, and several who have shared their experience and insight.

I think the majority of people do this to feel better about it and I can't blame them at all. Do what feels right for you; there will still be plenty of information from others here.

For those of you who didn't go forward after the cam interview, I am just wondering if we all had the same recruiter, hmmm

guess we'll never know, in my case I do think it's for the best :)

I am bummed to hear your news. It sounds like Xerox is a good alternative, but I wonder if you might run into the same scheduling issues. It sounds like the training attendance requirement is pretty hard and fast. Let us know what you decide to do next.

I'd love to know some things you've heard about chat. I'm sold on chat anyway but if there's more to tell, bring it on.

I think I may have been too forward about my schedule and that was a turn-off but I'm definitely learning from that mistake. I wasn't really clear when I initially brought it up and it may have caused a lot of confusion.

I applied through Kelly on a whim so I have my fingers crossed there.

I've heard of someone applying with another ID since the application is blocked for some time after going forward with interviews? Anyone have any luck on that end?

My third interview is tonight at 6:00 PM. spending. The day in customer service training manuals from DDI. Excellent resource. I'll post tonight as soon as I'm done with the interview with how it went.

Hey guys just wanna say thanks again for everything and I'll most likely be disappearing soon as well. Got the official welcome email yesterday and start this coming Monday! So excited! I wish everyone applying the best of luck and if any of my June 1st classmates wanna keep in touch send me a PM!

My 2nd interview is today in a couple hours and I am soooo nervous!! I don't know what to do!! I will report back when I am done so hopefully I can share some info and help someone else out.

Has this happened to anyone during interview process

I had three interviews for an Applecare adviser position in Austin. During my third interview which was a facetime interview, At some point during the interview I mentioned that I was a new grandmother, the interviewer asked if I would prefer an in home position instead, I was taken aback some, but I replied sure but would be happy with either position, as I just really wanted to work for apple. She further stated that she would forward my information to the at-home team hiring managers the following Monday. This occurred in November 2014 , I received a rejection letter for the Austin position a few weeks later which didn't surprise me since the interviewer was very clear she thought I was a better fit for an at home adviser position, now 20 applications and 5 months later no word from anyone. Any insight would be appreciated

So i have applied for at home advisor 3 times in different fields since march and heard nothing, any advice? I even had a friend refer me and nothing

Ok, so it went great! I got moved to the 3rd interview which she said I should get an email about.

She discussed the training and pay. She said my work environment needed to be noise free, ergonomic desk and chair.

She then asked me about some of my previous jobs and led into asking my about "what would you do when, and a couple questions like that. Then we went into the chat part.

The chat window is so small and hard to keep up with 2 conversations. The first question was about a guy who had an issue with his ipad and it was his birthday. So of course I typed Happy birthday and that it was awesome that he got an ipad. I forgot what the tech issue was,but it was pretty easy.

2nd chat that was going on at the same time was a lady who was trying to hear her grandson's first words and the volume was not working on a video she was sent. She was using Pandora earlier and the volume worked fine.

I sympathized with her as I stated I had a 1 yr old niece that just started talking and I know how she must feel wanting to hear his voice. I told her to check the volume buttons, and a couple other steps. She mentioned in the chat it was a Youtube link. So then I directed her to look under the Youtube video and adjust the volume.

The interviewer ended up stopping me there. She just suggested I ask a little bit more probing questions about what type of link so I would have known it was Youtube.

But all in all it went good. So now time to get all nervous again for the 3rd interview. How long does it take to get an email about the 3rd interview?

Good luck tonight!

Believe that you can handle anything they'll ask, smile a lot, and establish rapport with your interviewer. Empathy and enthusiasm!

That sounds very frustrating. More than anything it sounds like your initial application got lost in the system. Did you have contact info for a recruiter to follow up with? I also wonder how Apple views new applications from those who have interviewed within the past 6 months.

Thank you for the feedback! I did everything you said!

----------

Never mind...third interview email just came in

My back ground check was completed this morning and sent to apple according to the people at hireright.

How long after the back ground check came back did it take apple to call again?

It just says completed. I asked the person I spoke to if everything was good, (no reason it shouldn't be) and she wouldn't tell me, just said my employer would contact me if there was an issue.

If there had been wouldn't they had contacted me during the process?

Has anyone here got on the Apple Project through Kelly with bad credit, but a clean criminal history? I went through Kelly because I figured it would be easier to get on with bad credit, plus I did it with them a few years ago and had a good record. I applied, tested, interviewed, received a "conditional" offer, filled out an I-9, and signed consent for background checks. I was told the job was mine as long as the background check was OK, and there was a date of hire on the I-9 of yesterday.

I know Kelly isn't the greatest way to do AHA, but I need a job in the worst way and quick. I am limited on how much money I can make anyway and keep my Medicaid, so I am not worried about the couple bucks difference per hour in pay. I just need to know if anyone has gotten on through Kelly with bad credit. If I can pay off my debts, I'll apply to Apple in a year. I am doing a vocational program right now and need some way to support myself for the next 24 months. I have been disabled since 2000'ish but got better enough to do an office job.

You'll be fine. My credit isn't the best and they don't even check that.

Apple itself doesn't check credit either.

10). Someone drops an iPhone and it won't turn on what do you say?

I'm very sorry about your phone. Lets see if we can get it working again. If the buttons are still in ok shape, try doing a hard reset. If that fails, I'd recommend bringing it in to the Apple store. If you have an Applecare plan, we can replace it for you, but unfortunately we won't be able to replace it if you're on the limited warranty.

(not entirely sure what the replacement policy is, just saying what I remember from my specific situation)

Always apologize and say you know how it must feel to be without a working phone.

Never say it won't be replaced just because they say it was dropped. A dropped phone doesn't mean it won't be covered under warranty. Some drops don't cause physical damage. I "drop" my phone on my bed all the time. Doesn't mean its damaged.

quick question, i just did the first interview over the phone, and was told if hired i would start in july and they told me what i would make, is that normal to tell the hourly wage in the first interview?
