Hi everyone. I've been lurking for months now and I am happy to say I'll be in the July class. I hope to see some of you there!! I can't wait! My paperwork package came today so herrrrrre we go! I'm interested to see if there's anyone here who have actually worked for Apple before and can shed some light to us as to what to expect realistically in this role. I'm going to be iTunes chat team. Thanks in advance!

Also, I messaged a few people who I saw previously on this thread who said they worked for them before and I haven't received a response. I've pretty much read every single page of this thread.
I've got my offer and I'm in the middle of my background check. Nothing to be nervous about but I'm sure you all can relate. Never anything serious.. Just a speeding ticket and maybe a couple seat belt violations, that's it. I've heard from Hireright and they just needed proof of a hire date from an old job.

Got my email to finish application and start background!

Process was A call from a recruiter, 10 min conversation about position and asked what ram was, etc. 2nd was a webcam interview. Told me I would hear back within 2 weeks, that was last Friday. Heard back today to finish app and start background. I guess only two interviews if they either like you, or depending on position. Mine was apple sales chat. GOod luck everyone! Huge weight off my shoulders.

How many interviews did most of you have to go thru? I've read from 2-3 only. My second one is Monday and it's the 20 min facetime interview. I'm looking forward to it.

hireright usually gets their information from www.theworknumber.com

if they can't get the info there then you will probably have to dig up old w-2s or paychecks.
Bankruptcy won't matter either. On my BGC report the judgement didn't show in the court records list. And I know a current employee that was hired and had two foreclosures. Nothing credit related is considered or even shows on the BGC report.
iAppleCrazy!!!!! Thank you so much for that reply!! You've put my mind at ease very much. So, with that being said I think I'll look pretty crystal clean to them... (To better days for all of us)>. You guys all are awesome!!!!!

So I reached out with a follow up email because I'm at my two week mark, but the recruiting coordinator is apparently gonna be out of office for a bit. In the out of office email it says to contact my recruiter if I was looking for an update, but I thought this person was my recruiter...I have emails from one other initial person but all others from the "recruiting coordinator"...I'm just going to wait a little longer, and wait for the coordinator to get back I suppose

Reach out to the other person. Then include in there that your recruiter is out of the office, and you were wanting to check the status. They will forward your email.

I got my equipment today! Super excited for Monday :) Funny thing I have only gotten emails throughout the process. I never received an official offer call, just an email. I had a call on Monday, just the are you still okay with not needing time off and internet expectations. Nothing else. Everyone else has gotten calls from their managers. Feeling a little left out here :(

Usually "your" recruiter would be the second person you interview with. Mine was going to be out of the office on vacation for a couple weeks and I have the person's info that is filling in for him while he's gone. Who was your second interview with? You can PM me with the info. If it's the same then I'll give you the other recruiter's info. Like sittingand waiting said - if there was contact info in their out of office email I would contact that person.

Were you for the sales one, mine is for sales. I only had two interviews for sales.

The person who called you is probably your manager because that's all my call was about. What shift are you? I would actually prefer email, I dont like answering random phone numbers lol.

Oh, it might be different then. I'm for IOS phones. I don't know if they have different recruiters for sales. I know they have different recruiters for chat. I would contact the other person if it's already been two weeks. Do you know which class start date you're being interviewed for?

The last person I interviewed with said end of July to beginning of August training class. Which is kind of soon...
I just emailed both contacts, can't really hurt I suppose

Anyone else (still) here waiting for the July 27th class? I am so ready!:apple:

And a side note to everyone applying/reapplying. The number one note is always "SHOW EMPATHY". Which I think goes without saying, but also BE YOURSELF and try to connect with the interviewer. You could blow an answer, but if you and your interviewer have a genuine connection, it won't matter. And conversely, if you DON'T connect with your interviewer, you could give the most amazing answers, but they wont land. Good luck! ;)

Piggybacking ^^^^

Hey all, idk if anyone looked over the user agreement for the site but I did and here's some info that will help future posters/readers. You can't delete your account. So with that being said, try not to post anything you would later want to go back and delete. It makes the conversation nonsensical to future users. And it actually asks that you don't erase (several) messages in the guidelines for that same reason. Send private messages, that way you can delete those messages and it won't leave gaps on the thread. :)
