Does anyone know how many years back the background investigation goes? Should we supply all schools we have ever attended such as elementary, middle school, high school? All jobs we have ever worked? Or is there a set time frame? Like past 10 years?

From my understanding its 5-7 years and I believe they are just looking at collegiate educational institutions.

did you get the contingent on a BGC call? I am still waiting one way or the other. If so, when was your last interview?

Thank you for your help! Yes! I got my contingent background check call less than a week after my third interview. When was your third interview?
a week ago tomorrow. I got a call today from a recruiter verifying some information ( address, position pay, etc) and said I would hear back by friday about the decision, but nothing was set in stone yet. so, strange lol.. maybe I'm on the cusp and it just depends if someone doesn't accept their offer, not 100% sure whats going on :/

If they contacted you to verify that information it sounds like they are interested! Good luck!

That's what I was thinking, but hey, its still nerve wracking.

I hope you get it. That would be awesome if we all got positions, lol. My second interview is on Thursday evening (only day this week that I could make it so I wouldn't have to take time off from my current job). What was weird and I don't want to speculate, but when they sent me the list of times available for the second interview, Friday wasn't even an option. I am wondering if Friday is when they are making the decisions.

good luck to you as well! It is possible that those time slots were filled. Did they say what class you would be in?

Welp. I got the "thanks for playing" email today. I'm devastated to say the least, I thought my interview went well. :( I was really looking forward to the chance of being part of the Apple team!

Oh well...

Does anyone know when I can reapply/be considered again?

Ahh I'm so sorry to hear that :(. I think it's 6 months. But... they did just post new postings the other day. Apply for them now so you're in the system again

Some of the jobs on there are still saved from when I applied this last time. I'm going to apply to the rest, but ugh!

I think I'm going to try through Kelly Services too. At least it's a foot in the door!

Yeah I think I'm going to. I just don't know if they would pick me up right away or not. A girl can hope and dream!

Did you schedule a third interview yet?

I got my offer contingent on BGC tonight around 8pm. I will save the black apple for when the BGC goes through. Has HireRight emailed you yet? I assume you're in the May class?

Awesome, congrats on getting the offer!!

To Kir87's post about the third interview, nope, they said it would only be 2 interviews and my second one is scheduled for tomorrow evening. I will probably post in here how it went on Friday as I anxiously await the phone call, offer email, or the thanks for playing email. :)

Oh that's great! I tripped up on my third, so you're lucky you get to bypass that one, haha. I'm just so awful at interviewing, I get so nervous and can't calm my nerves at all.
I wish you luck, I have no doubt that you will get the welcome phone call/email!

Just had a FaceTime interview with a recruiter. I feel good about it, he didn't say I'm moving you on... Simply said I should get an email within the next week.

Hello everyone, I worked for Apple as an AHA in 2015. I had to leave the job due to extreme financial difficulty and the need to leverage my veteran benefits. I have since gained stability in my life and want nothing more than to work for Apple again. Such an amazing job.

I applied a while back (March 15th), but have not heard anything back. I applied for the new jobs today and I imagine it will be more the same. I'd at least like to know if my application was looked at and they decided to go another route. Does anyone know if they will inform you that you weren't selected? Do you think me voluntarily leaving (albeit for very VERY good reasons) is going to prevent me from being employed again... I sure do and it bums me the eff out.

Thanks guys, and congrats to the people who are starting. It's an amazing opportunity. One of the best jobs I've ever had (Intelligence Analyst was the best!)

I doubt it will stop you from being rehired if you left on good terms; especially if you were productive in the position.

Oh yeah, I was always in the lead with my team (well, except idle aux... but, to be fair, that's hard to avoid. haha)
