Well I had my second interview last night and now I am in the waiting game. The second interview experience went pretty well for the most part. I had two interviewers, one was an Area Manager and another was an At Home team manager. They both were very friendly and allowed me time to think about my responses. First I was asked to give a little background of myself. Then was asked the typical "Why Apple" question. Then they went into some technical scenarios and asked me to come up with the first 5 steps that I would go through in troubleshooting these issues. Then I had 3 role play scenarios. The first one really tripped me up at first, but then I came back around to what they were looking for. The other 2 went well I thought. Then they opened it up for me to ask questions and I asked a few regarding typical day, move up process, goals, next step. Overall the interview lasted 50 minutes. I was definitely nervous and it showed, but I just tried to remain calm and cool and made sure I got across what I was trying to say as clearly as possible.

So thats my experience and now I sit and wait :)

I applied for the advisor position a couple of weeks ago but haven't heard anything yet. Should I apply for some of the other postings and hope that they respond? What is some advice to get an interview?

@flowerwasteland did you verify if it is 5 or 7 years for employment history when you started your BGC?

Nope. I just ended up doing what was on my resume.

I got my offer contingent on BGC tonight around 8pm. I will save the black apple for when the BGC goes through. Has HireRight emailed you yet? I assume you're in the May class?

HireRight didn't e-mail me when my background check was completed. I just went on the website to check to see if it was completed. Yes. I am in the May class. Are you as well?

Hello I had my last interview Friday and it went great. They advised me that they will be contacting me in 1-2 weeks regarding decision. I applied to over 14 positions,
Just curious if anyone that applied for the AHA jobs through Apple that were posted at the beginning of the month heard anything yet?

Hello, I just recently had my last interview Friday and it went great is what I was told by the recruiters. I applied to over 14 jobs all at one time so tonight I received a email stating that they decided to move on with other candidates. They told me it would take 1-2 weeks for a decision to be made, so I'm thinking it could be for the other 13 jobs I applied for is the reason I received the rejection email. Has this happen to you before ?

I think you only get that e-mail if you interview and they decide to move on with other candidates. Not completely sure though.

Well, I decided not to throw in the towel after all and took a week to revamp my resume and cover letter. I finally applied to as many open positions as I could on Apple's site.

I came home tonight to an email asking for an interview! I'm so excited, and so nervous! I know I can do it this time...!

Ok thank you, i was really hoping for this position . I applied to 14 positions, so that's weird that they told me to expect something in two weeks.but they sent me two emails saying the same thing

unfortunately @flowerwasteland is right, they only send that email out when you've interviewed.

I've applied for the AHA position and live in a state where marijuana is legal for both recreational and medicinal purposes. Does anyone know if Apple drug tests? Thanks!

So my wife is looking to transition to the stay at home mom lifestyle for our 3 month old. Those that are currently with Apple At Home, would this be a worthwhile venture and are they accommodating to the needs of an infant? Thanks!

Can anyone tell me how the Inbound Sales Support position at Conduent is? I want to work in the Apple division, and I'm just wondering what the job is like.

It states on the job page it needs to be a quiet work space. That doesn't sound like they're going to allow you to skip calls for an infant, unfortunately.

I second what iByteApple said. She can't be the infant's primary care giver while she was working. She would need to get a babysitter during her working hours. Or have you or a family member caring for the infant when she is working.

Had my first interview yesterday, really nervous but I think it went okay. Now I am waiting to hear back on whether or not I move forward for another interview and a June-ish hire date.

No, I wasn't in that one. I already had my paperwork conference and I have already turned in my paperwork. I didn't get a message from you, I'll PM you.

Do you have any good tips on the cover letter. I feel like my resume is solid. Ive applied to several postings over the past month to no avail and I feel like it must be the cover letter.

It could work, but ONLY if she was doing chat, and even then it's iffy unless she's very good at multitasking. The chats take some concentration and you're pretty much constantly at the keyboard unless you're waiting on a response, so getting away to change a diaper or typing one handed while feeding might be difficult.

I saw another response talking about a quiet environment, but I know that plenty of people working chats that have dogs and children. I just wouldn't mention anything about the child in the interview process.

Hi,

Regarding the back ground check that Apple do for At Home Advisor. Do they do a credit check, I ask because I was made bankrupt last October and I wonder would this go against me. I have no criminal record and a good and verifiable work record in a bank.

Thanks
