I have had three interviews and they all went pretty well. Now I am waiting to see if I will get the BGC e-mail. I am SO nervous!! Everything was great but in the last minute my four year old came in so that may have blown it :(
(I need a new sitter)
Anyone else interviewing for a start date of March 3?

When did you have your third interview?

When did you have your third interview?

My third interview was Monday. They called Tuesday but I missed the call. The call was from the first recruiter that I had the initial phone interview with. I called and left a message for her and then I also e-mailed her since I had her contact info and she called me back Wed, and I got the BGC info a few hours later.

Thanks for the info. Can you private message me? I have a couple of other questions?

If you have a couple of other questions, wouldn't it be good to ask them and have them get answered in the forum for others to see?

Thanks. Some questions should not be asked or answered in a public forum.

You worry too much. As per your other posts on here, you seem to edit all your replies out/delete and constantly ask people to inbox you. I find that odd.

Applying Question?

Hey! I am newbie and I have a question. Do you know how many cities I should be applying too? Do you think applying to the cities across the whole east coast a bit much? I went ahead and applied (I do not see any limits on the job description like previously mentioned regarding 100 miles).

So I went through a few rounds of interviews and wound up getting the dreaded Thanks for your interest email. I've decided that I"m not going to give up so in the words of Steve Job's I've decided to "Think Different". I know that linking this reveals who I am but I want Apple to see me because I don't intend to talk about their policy's online or anything else. I just want them to see how serious I am and I know they check these forums.

Come on Apple! Let me show you what i've got!

I kind of fell off the earth since I got the job. So about a month later, And I just received my equipment yesterday. It is SO tempting to open it, but it's just sitting there, staring me down.

My first day is this upcoming Monday, and I'm super stoked.

Good luck to everyone applying and/or already in the process!

phone service

Where does it say that you need an old phone POTS phone service? I don't see that posted anywhere.

I believe you can use like Xfinity Comcast Digital phone service - as long as you use a UPS - Uninterruptible Power Supply.

Also, is it true that when you get the equipment, you can't open the box until your first day??

I'm in the 2/24 class which is ios.

What's the class for that starts next week? And what is the class for that starts 3/3?

Any current employees know if you can switch to a different project and how long you have to wait to do so? I really want to be in iTunes chat.

Also, anyone know easiest way to get a hard-wired connection to the second level of a house that doesn't involve moving equipment? The way my ISP has the lines ran, they can't get lines ran to the second floor. Everything comes up through the basement to the main level(where the router is located) but there's no way for me to run an ethernet cable from that to my office upstairs. The equipment also can't be moved.

Homeplug? Access Point? I need something that can give me ethernet access BUT DOESN'T connect to the current router wired.

Is the ISP saying they cant do it or you saying that?

As for Access Point, isn't that wireless. If so, you cant work for Apple on a wireless connection, far as I know. You need a direct connection - hard wired.

There has to be a way to run the Ethernet cable, regardless...might have to drill a hole or something even. Do you want to be on the same network as the router that is currently there? Maybe you want your own router.

I applied on Tuesday, 1/21, passed interview 1 today, have interview 2 next week. One question I have, for those who are currently working in this position, what is the health insurance cost? What I mean is, how much comes out of your check for insurance? Because at the animal hospital where I am currently working, there is 289 being deducted every 2 weeks, and I am only making 10.50 per hour right now (looking forward to the 15 from Apple, though it is part time). I am also planning a suicide mission of trying to continue working as a tech at the clinic on a part time basis until I am able to snag a full time position with Apple.

well i attached a screenshot of the email from dec. 9th and was just wondering if this is a similar email that everyone else got. just note, i havent uploaded a cover letter, which im in the process of doing. i havent heard a peep since then so i guess no news is good news lol especially hearing about everyone else's timeline.

also, i wanted to know if someone could tell me the hiring manager's name, i wanted to write a formal cover letter to attach to my profile.

thank you
