Thanks for all of the info. I had my interview and just completed my I-9 forms and submitted them. By any chance do you know how long it will be before I am sent the next step of directions?

You don't have to have a landline. You have to have a phone line that isn't plugged directly into a computer. It can be plugged into the modem or router, though...like a cable phone line or Basic Talk and other VOIP options that DO NOT plug directly into a computer. They will provide you with a list of options for your area if you are hired. You don't have to have these things set up before you are hired but you do need that phone line in your training so you would need to have it all set up by then. You get paid every Friday and submit your time for the week by midnight Sunday. If you start on one week you would get paid the following Friday. If you use the Money Network option initially you will get your first pay without any problems. If not you might run into problems waiting for a paper check or for direct deposit to get sorted out. If you sign up for Money Network at first you can switch to Direct Deposit after.

Long Time Forum Lurker

So I've been reading all posts under this thread and part 1 about the AHA position and I've made it to the third interview. I'm so excited yet so nervous. I wish I knew more about what to expect. My first and second interview were very laid back, both on phone because 2nd recruiter was having audio issues. What has everyone's experience been like so far?

waiting for what feels like forever

I am trying to make it for the july 21st class. I finished my I9 yesterday and signed all the additional hire papers, scanned and emailed them. Now I guess I am playing the wait game, and it's killing me.. lol

How long did everyone's hire right check take? I submitted my stuff the 8th. Had to verify information - submitted it the 11th. Called today and it hadn't been sent to the researchers until I was on the phone.... The lady said another 3-5 business days for that.... Ugh.

About the same here, although, I haven't called them yet. I submitted my original Hire Right app on 7.2.14. They requested info on 7.9.14. I submitted the info instantly and as of today, my Hire Right app is still "in progress".

Everything is happening to me in week intervals. Tomorrow will be a week since they asked for info. I'm nervously watching my email :)

The 2nd person who interviewed me had said if I'm hired I would start sept 8. So I'm hoping it takes less than 4 months lol

Congrats! This is kinda nerve racking...lol...No, sadly, I called yesterday and a gentleman told me it was scheduled to be complete yesterday, so I could expect completion today. It is still "In Progress".

Does anyone know how they calculate the salaries based off of location?

From what I understand they don't. They have a set pay for position, not location.

I just got my call! I am hired. Will get an email next week to schedule the conference call.

If you haven't heard anything back by tomorrow - I would call hire right again.

Hmm... Interesting... Everyone I've talked to has gotten paid the same. Or at least said they have been.

Yeah, I've talked to people all over the USA and the pay rates have been from $14.50 to $18 per hour depending on location (hired directly through Apple and not a temp agency). The locations were all over the board so I can't quote what pay for what location. But you get the idea.

I hope that helps!
