So for all of us on the 11/5 class has everyone gotten the offer email after your phone call? I am still waiting and i got my call 10/10/12:(

I got the offer email Friday for the 11/5 class. I was originally for 10/22, rejection email recipient then offer call a few days after the sorry but thanks email. I think classes are behind

Discouraged

I sent my application with cover letter on September 25 and received the "we got your application..." email. The line that has left me feeling that they aren't even going to consider me is "A recruiter will review your qualifications and contact you if they determine that there is a good match." I have not received any other correspondence from apple, so I believe I do not meet any of their qualifications. I did read in the forum where someone did the application on an internet explorer page, then re-submitted using safari page, then heard back from a recruiter. I may give that a shot. I really want this job!!
Thanks for letting me vent, and congratulations to all who have made it through!

That sounds like the auto-response, of which I have a couple hundred currently headed for the trash bin. Since it's been over two weeks I would consider re-working your cover letter (many posts throughout this forum have indicated cover letters catching recruiters eyes, don't go for the standard "I'm applying at Apple because..."), and applying for a few more AHA positions.

I went through about 4 different versions of my cover letter looking for the right balance of personality, professionalism, and Apple Fan-boy-ism.

Edit: Excluding one cover letter I don't count because it was defeated by the Apple site removing extra spaces in some Ascii art. Pesky technology outsmarting me.

Cover letters are key.
That was the first thing they noticed about me, was my cover letter.

There alot of good websites about writing cover letters for Apple.

I though payday was on fridays, but now I hear it is actually on Thursday?

That's correct....every other Friday. Management stated the same and My**** states the same.

----------

When do you actually find out the details of the 'benefits'? I'm starting on 10/29 and have completed my paperwork call with the strict instructions given by the team manager. I have to say I'm dying of curiosity!!!

----------

congrats to you on your offer!!! no, you don't have to sign for the paperwork and trust me when I say it looks so pretty you won't want to open the file ;)

You'll get an overview once you get access to My**** and your paperwork will include info. You guys should just be patient. All will be revealed in due time. I'm not going to go into details on this forum. :p

I agree about the cover letter. My recruiter mentioned mine. It was different and unique.

Which previous posts also indicates sometimes works. Possibly on the same theory of getting noticed, since most people will include one (Hey, no cover letter, lets see the resume).

However, if Txdispatcher included a cover letter, and hasn't been contacted after 3 weeks, I'd say re-work the letter.

Sj.. I finally gave in and emailed my recruiter. I figured with getting the offer call last Wednesday I would have received the email that I am supposed to accept by Friday. But to no avail. An seeing a few people on here that got offer calls after me that have gotten the emails for accept made me nervous. I set up filters on email to accept all @apple email addresses over a month ago so but still I checked spam folder #

Since they're behind in the recruiting process maybe you'll be placed in a later class. I was 10/22 at first and now 11/5. My friend was 10/8 at first and now 10/29. As long as you've not received the rejection email
Still have faith. I know it's hard!!

Give it time

I recently completed training and am starting my regular full time schedule this week. If you are in the middle of the employment process... give it some time. The team managers, trainers, mentors and hiring staff are really busy. A lot of those folks have to handle incoming calls as well as function as trainers and mentors so things are kind of hectic right now.

The people in this thread are just a tiny fraction of people that are applying for AHA positions so if you do get the acceptance call, consider yourself pretty lucky. Yes, they need quite a few people but 100's apply daily and they are still kind of picky who they hire... remember that you'll be the public face of Apple tech support. "Course, I'm still wondering why they hired me but no point in looking a gift horse in the mouth.

What hours and days off did you get out of training?

Does anyone know if they leave voicemails? I'm in a training class today and have no cell phone signal whatsoever. I'd hate to lose my chance because I cant receive a call

I am awaiting my official email today.

Sucks to be ahead of Cali by 3 hours.

per an email received back:

Thank you for checking-in. The email with the offer letter can take 5-7 business days to generate based on the date you verbally accepted......

I hope not.

I was told I would receive it today.

I am trying to time my vacation right.

So, I have to wait to fly out until I get my paperwork.
