Yea its my First FaceTime Interview! Thanks for the advice, I previously ran a Healthcare Education company tech department and was a Instructional Technology Clerk at a local college. I have great experiences to recall! I am very knowledgeable in Apple Products and love the Company! Hope it goes well! Thanks PopChips!

From what I heard, they are extremely busy. I had completed both Skype interviews on Monday and have not heard from HireRight as per the BackGround check yet....some have gotten it right after the interview same day, others have to wait. Just be patient.

Maybe you should change your email address and do it that way when filling out another application. Maybe you cant do that and your IP address is registered with them or something...who knows.

----------

What are you referring to? Apple New Hire? Mortgage? Loan? lol

----------

Good luck!! You will need it. Kidding. 1st interview or 2nd?

----------

Well, as long as you know about Apple, its products, have done similar type of work before and are a bit technical/provided Customer Service, should do fine.

Basically answer the same as you would in a normal face 2 face interview, i.e. can you recall a time you had an irate customer, etc etc....questions like this.

Oh no I'm sorry I should have been more clear, I have been through the entire interview process and I am currently waiting for a third party company called HireRight to do my background check and submit it to Apple. It has been exactly a week today since I have filled out the forms for the background check and Apple has yet to receive the background check info from them, it's making me nervous/impatient, I feel like I'm 90% of the way through the process and now it's just taking forever for the last step!

What ever happened did you hear back from Apple after the hire right background check was done? I am in the same boat and have not heard anything.

I had my 2nd Skype interview on Monday and did not get the Hire Right email to initiate the BG check. I contacted HR for something else and HR stated that I should hear back from either Apple or HireRight by the end of the week.

They are busy, I understand that. There are some that got the HireRight email the day of their 2nd interview. Kudos to them.

In my opinion, if you did not get the HireRight email the day of 2nd interview, we are probably put on a list if things do not pan out for the other HireRight group that got email same day as 2nd Interview.

Who knows why things happen the way they do. Makes you bite your nails right down to nubs waiting.

I have had nothing but interviews, background checks for other companies and are now walking the tight rope now wondering how it will all go eventually.

But, in the end, patience is always a virtue!!

Good things!

Yea I had 2 phone interviews then a Skype interview then that same day I filled out the background check. I called hireright and they said they sent over my background check to apple on monday so I don't know what the hold up is  I requested a copy of my background check and everything was clear and verified so I guess I have to keep waiting to hear something!

Thank you for your interest in opportunities with Apple. As you can imagine we received a large number of qualified applicants for this role. At this time we have chosen to move forward with other candidates that meet the needs of today. I want to personally thank you for your interest and for investing the time to speak with us about this opportunity.

Thank you again for your time and interest in Apple. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Sincerely,

Little do they know, I already accepted an offer for another full time job. Best of luck everyone.

No it was not. I did not get the BG Check email sent to me to initiate. I thought this would be the outcome anyway based on other responses of people getting the BG Check invite the same day of their 2nd Interview and I did not get it yet.

BG Check would have been clean anyway. But to my suprise, I was offered and accepted another job so it turned out ok.

They must be busy or something because I finished my background check a couple days ago and haven't heard anything.

I received my equipment Thursday and have a training class Tuesday. I was so hurt not getting hired by Apple but I have finally accepted that it was not ment to be, I will try again at a later date. I plan to put all my effort into being the best Kelly at home advisor. I am loving playing with the iPod touch and I can't wait to start shopping for a new iPad with my EPP. Thanks for all your support and help. Good luck to all who are waiting to hear back from Kelly and/or Apple. :D

I am trying to find out why they haven't contacted me yet? I did all the paperwork and have the background check. When I spoke to the local office they said my background had been completed last friday!! Now they say it's under review. How long does it take to come back.

Hurray! I'm so happy for you. I'm glad to know that Apple saw you for who you are today and not stupid past mistakes! Hope you get that call soon. :)

Congratulations on your great interview and 2nd interview! Haven't seen a wait list but as you can see from this board, it looks like they are super busy. Sit tight and I'm sure you'll get an interview soon. It was 10 days between my 2 FaceTime interviews, so don't worry....

Well, I don't think HireRight notifies you when your background check is finished. I think if you call them you can find out. However, from what most people have said it takes a week or so then they send it to Apple. I've been waiting a week and one day. Hoping for a call any time now...

Back Ground Check

Hello All
I filled out my I9 forms at the Kelly office last Wendsday. I have not heard anything back. Should I be concerned?

Nooooo....it did not go that far. I never even got the BG Check email to initiate. I think what it was is that I am over qualified. I stumped one of the interviewees I had, maybe they did not like that. Funny story - I had an interview with a company, course did not get hired but in one of my previous jobs, my company migrated their OS from Win XP to Win Vista in 2008. The interviewer asked me, "Why would they do that? Why not migrate to Windows 7?" Huh? Win 7 did not come out to the public until last year. I could see he did like when I corrected him - this guy was an IT Manager too. Who knows.

Back to AHA...

Kelly hires for this position only for $9/hr compared to direct from Apple, is I believe $14/hr...all part time.

I ended up finding a full time job anyway. I have been busy with interviews, etc...

I make looking for a job a full time job....only way to go. I spent about 10 hrs/day looking, firing off resumes...no joke.

When I get emails about my resume, I respond right back...I am usually the first interview they have....I don't mess around.

Anyway...All the best to everyone in what ever you do and good luck.

Cheers!!

I have a question. I sent off my information to HireRight on Monday. I just found out they do an employment history check. I listed my 3 most recent and relevant employers only. I have had a few other jobs I did not list because I was there for such a short amount of time and it was completely irrelevant to what I was applying for. The dates I did list are relatively accurate.. perhaps off by maybe a month or so.. Do you think that will cause me to not be hired? The previous jobs have all been within the last 5 years, but some companies I was only with for a few weeks or maybe a month (I did a lot of moving around unexpectedly).

And to those that are worried -- I applied around June 1st and totally forgot about it. The second week of July I got a call and email from them. I was really excited! So don't give up hope.. it took them over a month to contact me!
