Looks like I got the "thanks, but no thanks" email in error . I just got contacted to schedule the third/final interview. Maybe I'm still in the running... keep you all posted!

That is awesome! Congrats to you. I just got my invite to schedule my last interview as well!! I thought it would never come!!
My interview is scheduled for 1:30 on Tuesday of this coming week!

Thanks!

Thanks, I was kind-of shocked actually! My interview is the first of next week too! I'm being scouted for the May 20th class, when is yours?

About the training, do you guys find more efficient to take a note in a physical notebook or on an iMac?

Thought of a ?

Does anyone know if the background check consists of a credit check too- or is it strictly criminal (in that case I have nothing to worry about)? To be honest, my credit is shot due to a divorce and all that goes with that... I am hoping that doesn't stick a fork in my chances. Thanks all!!

Well they said the May 6 class originally, but my last interview is so late I don't know if they'd push me into a later class. Good luck on your interview!!

They do a soft credit check to verify previous address for criminal background check score has nothing to do with the background process.

I looked over my report and don't see anything related to credit its just criminal and employment history

I just got done with my telephone interview yesterday and something odd happened about a hour later. I got another invite for the first video interview that i had already completed a few days earlier, anyone have any idea why?

I did take physical notes on paper, but didn't reference them when test
time came around. I slowly drifted from physical notes to more screen prints.
So my entire training period ended up with just a couple pages of notes,
but several folders worth of screen shots. One folder, one week of training.

But what helped me the most was going back into the training material for
the test questions. That's where ya gotta pay attention in class. Knowing
where to find the answer is as important as knowing it by heart.

Stay away from kelly

I worked as an at home advisor for kelly for apple for eight months and for that kind of pay 10.00 for T2 senior advisor they expect you to do wayyyy to much. I was account security,iTunes support and iOS escalations which they expect you to get good surveys FTP and wade through deep complex issues that take multiple departments to fix. Just go for the actual Apple job you will get paid for what your expected to do.

Do you think you should send a follow-up email, or just wait it out like I've been? Has anyone sent one? I had my interview via FaceTime (today being a week) is my next step the BGC if I got this? I haven't heard anything, so I'm still holding on tightly to the no news is good news... I really want this job, so bad

application

ok, yes I am still in the application phase of this opportunity. From reading this thread, I am totally psyched about it. do they call everyone who sends in an app or just the ppl they are interested in?

TIA

They get thousands of applications. I hope this answers the question.

Okay starting to get nervous again. I'm not sure they're going to call me back for another chance at the interviews. When the guy called me Tuesday he said I would hear something Wednesday or Thursday and guess what... It's now 1:30 PM on Thursday and still no call or email from anyone yet.

Just remember they are on the west coast, hang in there I'm sure it's coming

I have two questions- not related to eachother:

1. I do not have a troubleshooting background. So what should I say when they ask "What is your most difficult troubleshooting experience?" Should I just say what I know how to do (but have never actually performed)? I am not sure how to solidly answer this in a positive manner.

2. For the background /employment check: How many years of employment do they want, and do I have to list EVERY job I have ever worked? What if I forget one? I have worked MANY part-time jobs over the years.

Thanks for the help!!

1. The troubleshooting experience doesn't have to be professional, it could be personal e.g. a time you couldn't get a program to work and researched an answer or a time you couldn't connect a game and research how to forward ports and make it work etc.

2. Typically you wouldn't want to list any job you held for less than 4 or so months. Most typically only go back 7 years or so, but as an applicant potentially applying for more than this position it is a pretty good idea to have a resume that lists the full breadth of your work experience. There are websites you can use to look up your employment history should you be fuzzy on the dates.

I agree with Dirty, just be honest, could even be a time you couldn't connect to the internet or email. You already told them you don't have much support experience. I think they just want to know that you can solve problems. Empathy is way more important than technical knowledge. They can train you on the tech.
