So I don't know if you guys remember, but I had my final interview on Tuesday 4/2, and I hadn't even gotten my official app! Well I just got it, lol! It just goes to show you how different timelines can be! Now I am just sweating over the bcg! I should get it in the next few days or I'll get the haunting rejection email.
Send good luck my way!

I have yet another question if anyone can be so kind to answer. Can you use the phone line for personal calls when not working? I don't have a landline now but would get one for the job. Thanks!
Good luck! What class are you set for? You've made it this far so I'm sure you'll get the jobI mean, as long as you don't have a bad record that is. (Murder, robbing a bank, etc charges) lol
Got my offer call!!! At 1030 EST Good luck to everyone in the 5/6 class.
I was wondering - for those who applied through Kelly, did you have facetime interviews or just a phone interview?
I only had a phone interview, I was also told that if hired it was the only interview I would have for the position.
Thanks. I was just curious. So far, you are on the just finished the I9 part?
Yea, hoping this all works out and fast. I've been looking for a job since 2011!
Oh man! Well extra good luck then. I did my I9 stuff on Tuesday morning and still waiting to hear back... *sigh* Hope it's before the weekend.
I wouldn't because if another call is trying to go through while your talking and your working you can mess things up. I would just use your cell phone for personal calls or just set up 2 lines in your house. Or set-up a Google voice number to forward your cell phone calls to if you don't want to use up your minutes.
Hope that helps
Thanks for your input but I'm looking for a response from someone that has already done the job and isn't just making assumptions. I imagine when you're working your phone is constantly on the line with Apple the whole time regardless if you're on a support call or not. My question is if you are permitted to use the phone line when you're not working.
I am going through Kelly, for now.... anyway, got my interview done, completed my I9 on Tuesday, just got an email back today to complete an assessment, which was mainly a personality inventory, a typing test and an assessment acknowledging that I know what I am getting myself into working from home. right after the computer assessment, I did a 3 question automated phone assessment. I am set to start training May 13th.

I have not done apple yet, but I have been working from home at a virtual call center for 2 years now. I have 2 landlines, but both of them are for servicing. I could not even tell you what the numbers for either of them are, because I do not give them out, ever! I will use them to call out, but I give out either my cell # or for professional purposes, I give out my google # which rings to both my work # and my cell #. I have stripped the phones down to basic, no call waiting, that is very bad while you are servicing. Google voice goes to internet vm and tries to transcribe the message, which helps if it is an important call. Keep your work number as separate from the rest of your world as possible, otherwise ppl will get busy signals a lot, or it will interrupt things (both of which are bad)
What is Kelly's website to apply?

I use it once in a while when I'm calling someplace where I might be put on hold or a call when the headset might come in handy. It's a standard land line, use it whenever you're not on the clock but don't ever give the number out and be aware that whoever you call will then know your number from caller id.
No matter what you do you're going to get an occasional robo-call or telemarketer ringing your number but you want to keep inbound calls to a minimum.
Use your own discretion. Also, you don't want to pay much attention to what I say since I've always been somewhat of a rule bender. BTW, I do frequently use the iMac and VPN during off time and no I don't use it to download torrents.
Thanks for the info! I also meant to thank obiwanjakobi previously. I assume you also don't use the company iMac for porn, ha! What do you use the VPN for during off time? Do you get full Admin privileges? (Not that it would be hard to reset an Admin password but not sure if they monitor your activity) Many helpful kind people have contributed to this thread and I am grateful. If anyone could comment on any of my questions in post #6284 it would also be awesome! Thanks!
