It would take quite a while to answer all of those questions but I will say that yes, Kelly pay basically sucks and 2. it's actually pretty hard to get fired unless you're absent from work too many times. You also have no choice but to work the schedule that you're assigned. When you sign up you're told quite a few times that you must be available from 7 AM to 11 PM CST.

There are a few things that are mandatory escalations but not many... 99.9% of the calls can be handled at T1 if the rep knows what he/she is doing.

Thanks for all the very helpful info! You are extremely kind to take the time to answer all these questions. My last one (yes, I promise it is my last) is if the training is the same regardless of what product line you are supporting?

Got an email from my Kelly recruiter today, All my paperwork is up-to-date and I should be looking to hearing from on boarding sometime next week with the following steps.

Recruiter finally called with the offer call! Of course I was in the shower. Called back and left a message. Just waiting for her to call back. So excited here!!! Good luck to everyone else. Hope the offer call comes soon for 5/6 peeps!

Congrats! Still waiting on any feedback for me.

Woohoo! Offer call!! Finally. I can breathe again. Good luck to everyone else still in the process. May 6th class.

Well guys, just an update from lastnight's post. I woke up eager for this inteview this morning at 12:45 Central. I got a call an hour and 1/2 earlier from recruiter saying the interviewer wanted to reschedule for 15 minutes earlier. I said sure! So exactly at 12:30 he facetimes my iPad. Started off good, even though he couldent find my account. He said the account he had for me showed I went to A&M and I worked at best buy. Neither one I have worked/went to. So it was weird at first. Then we proceded to the interview. . He did roll playing questions and was acting as pissed customer , and I totally flubbed up on it. He knew I was nervous and I proceded to backtrack my steps and say with the right training i would be a great employee. Then I told him what my answer should of been to the "irate" customer, I said the customers time is important and I should of stressed that the employee should of let the phone conversation end so he could go to his "daughters soccer game" (I was trying to help him resolve his issue and I kept him on the phone). Anyways. At the end of the roll playing and interview he said he liked me I'm a great guy and he likes my enthasium. And he will pass me to the last and final interview within the next few days :) oh. He also asked me straight up what does empathy means. I got it right :)

You and I are in the same boat. I live in the middle of a cornfield :)rolleyes:) and my courthouse doesn't have electronic records. HireRight had to snail-mail a request to them for a records pull. Ridiculous!! Other than that, all is pending a 5/20 start date. I know I've said it before but this waiting is KILLING me!! lol!

I've heard of people reapplying on the day they got a "thanks for playing" email. I'd say go for it!!

Okay because apparently my old apple rep from best buy told me to apply through him via a referral because he has been with the company for over 20 years. I did not know this when I originally applied and I really want this job. Thanks. I will double check with the recruiter tomorrow just to make sure that I can. Thanks again

man i dont know why you guys be talkin about these tests are hard...this first test was a walk in the park.....plus it was open book which was overkill..

Ooooohhhh my gosh...I have been waiting for somebody to at least insinuate that very thing, and boy, would I love to believe you.

got call

i applied for this 2 days ago got a call from a lady an she asked what cpu was what software an hardware is an some other little stuff. Then said she was sending me to the next step an that i have the knowledge an set a time for me to have a facetime interview on monday so thats cool

Still Applying

Just checking to see if anyone who has applied directly with Apple in the past week or so has been contacted. I have applied so many times under several ID's and still no word. I have created a great cover letter, my resume is good, I have applied for over 20 positions, and still no reply. I have had call-center experience, an enormous amount of customer service in previous management positions and currently am in a management position. I just really need to work from home, which is why I am pursuing this opportunity. I recently moved to a very rural area and was able to easily get a job, the drive is just too much for me. I am starting to get a complex because so many other people have been contacted and I can't figure out what I am doing wrong? Not sure if I have too much education or too many management positions and they don't think I will stay? Not sure if I should "dumb down" my resume and cover letter.

Did you apply directly with Apple or with Kelly services, if you don't mind me asking? Thanks and best of luck!

Hey all started recently absolutely loving it.don't panic, if you know your stuff and know empathy will be just fine. it seems like a lot But is easier as time goes by. I wish I could say more, But can't. But good luck to everyone applying, keep calm and I really do hope you land it! Just read the threads and pay attention.

Still Applying

Looks as if recent applicants are getting contacted yet I have been continually overlooked? Very disheartening, indeed.

Does anyone know, are ppl hired on by Kelly able to get over onto the Apple side eventually or is it better to just wait through for the Apple process to go through?

And, yes I really really want to work for Apple, on the Apple side, I got the 11 question email on Monday, but have not heard anything since then..... and it seems that everyone who passes the 11 questions gets their 1st official interview at least scheduled within a day or two. Did I just luck out at getting the recruiter that went on vacation for the week, or do I need to start over? Will I get the thanks for playing email if I didnt pass that part? I have tried calling the recruiter, but always get her vm.......

Your English skills are too good. Use questionable grammar and plenty of buzz words like, "awesome", "rockin" and "stoked" in your cover letter and you'll be fine.

I'm joking... Kind of. Your best bet would be to apply for a team manager spot right from the get go. Go back to jobs.apple.com and search for "AppleCare Area Manager". It doesn't matter if it's in your city or not. The qualifications are pretty minimal and it sounds like you have the background.

Absolutely DO NOT dumb yourself down just to get an AHA adviser job. You might get hired but you'll end up being miserable.
