If you are just starting the process and have a little time I would say to dump Kelly and apply directly through Apple. Seems like the pay is $3-$6 per hour higher plus much much better benefits. Just wanted to give you the heads up. I hate seeing people doing the same job as me put a lot less pay and no benefits. That would suck.

It is an at home position and I believe you can apply for the jobs within 100 mile radius of where you live. Try to search again broadening your search area.

That's an interesting question Danigir84...
It's not the hours... It's miles.

2 hours may change depending on how fast you walk or drive:)

Yes I know lol I don't know I would love to work directly for apple and I went on their site but they said that the home adviser only gets 20 hrs a week I need more then that

I initially applied part time but then they asked me if I would be interested in full time. I told them yes and they rescheduled my interview for the next full time cycle. They are always hiring and doing classes it seems like. Heck I understand you wanting full time but Apple is still going to pay more than a lot of other jobs in your area and at least you are full time for 4-5 weeks for training. Plus really good benefits.

When you realize how much work is required for the job, you'll wish you were only working 20 hours at Kelly for the measly wage, no benefits, no paid time off, no Apple discounts.

My suggestion, do the 4-5 weeks of training with them, and keep applying with Apple. The good thing is you get paid weekly with Kelly so you'll have an influx of cash quickly.

iTunes Chat

I received my questionnaire for the iTunes chat job today. So step 2 completed....5 more steps to go! Wish me luck! :)

I've mentioned this a few times... If they had me doing iOS full time I would have quit long ago. Even 20 hours can drive you to the brink of madness at times. You'd think that once people got a job with Apple they'd stick with it. Not so, there's a HUGE turnover, especially in iOS. This job takes it's toll and Kelly can stick it where the sun don't shine with their $9.75 per hour.

Assuming you work 20 hours, add in a possible shift differential of 10% and health care you're still better off working with Apple than you are Kelly.

Thanks for the help!

I have been "stalking" this forum all week for tips on my 2nd interview. It worked! I did my 2nd interview today and she pushed me through to a 3rd interview. Crossing my fingers because I think it would be GREAT to work for Apple.

4/13 completed app
4/15 received email for more info
4/16 phone call (1st interview)
4/17 2nd interview but had to reschedule
4/19 completed 2nd interview - pushed on to the 3rd interview

Questions asked: 1st she went over my resume, then customer service experience. Asked for define great customer service, define empathy, what does RAM stand for and what is it, what is the difference in POP/IMAP, IMAP/STMP, what would you do if email is not working on device, what would you do if printer is not printing.

Yup! Sounds Familiar! Now wait until either today or tomorrow. Probably today if it was early enough. you will receive an email to the same account you have been receiving other Apple Emails, it will be a link to sign in and set up a date (probably set for Monday) all times of the day, you select what phone number, date, time and how to contact you. Then just make sure your phone is working or Skype or FaceTime a day or hour before your 3rd interview. Because thats how I got screwed on my 3rd. My FaceTime didn't work. and she finally called me back on my cell an hour later. Just make sure it works. It kinda looks bad if your own FaceTime wont work. Goodluck. Be ready for the 3rd. Its a bit longer. about 30-45 minutes. And they go in depth with Technical Questions, and more Role Playing Questions.

Yep; I just got the email! Does it matter which method you choose? I am still working my current job so Skype or phone works better for me because my WiFi signal is not always strong enough for FaceTime.

It honestly doesn't matter. Im sure they would like a Face interview. But Phone had to do with me, and even with that. I still got my background check. So just choose Phone :) Just don't get in trouble with your employer. haha.

Oh wait. Are there any times for today for an interview?

Hey there! This is my first post in this thread but I've read through the last 10-20 pages and the info has been of great use.

I just had my third interview this week for part time and got the background check e-mail from hireright the same day. I've got a few questions:

1. Would me receiving the background check e-mail indicate that I have passed the third interview?

2. They said my start date would be May 28th if I was to get the job. Does anyone have a clue if that would be for IOS or CPU?

3. Are there options of taking more than 20 hours on a normal week, or does that ONLY happen near product release / holidays?

Thanks :)!

Can anyone comment on how long it takes to complete the entire process after the offer call? (Email offer, paperwork session, receive iMac) Thanks!
