You can. They will see what happened the first time though. I suggest not. Because what if you get the same recruiter or, same people that interview you? That wouldn't make you look good. But in all means if you want too. Go ahead. And what part of the interview are you at?

I was at the second stage of the interview process. It was a phone interview, i was never asked what my favorite app was, but with all other questions i were able to answer without a "ummmmm" ive worked for places like best buy and radioshack, i feel like i would be a good fit so definately wont give up but, lets hope they atleast give me a chance and give me a facetime interview.

That would suck if I got that email :( I feel like I did well in the Interview... If I have to start over can I use my same Apple I.D.?

play it Straight, new new apple ID. Bad mojo.

One of the first questions, have spoke with a recruiter or interviewer from Apple in the last year.

And your answer? Be honest.

Question...

Does Apple send out any info on the weekends? ... waiting to hear back. I applied to an iTunes Assessment link Thursday and haven't heard back yet. No link to schedule an interview.. Could be because it was late Thursday night when I sent it.. OR, they decided not to interview me... But, just wondering if they still send out anything over the weekends...

Not ALWAYS slammed but pretty busy most of the time. It is harder to get good CSAT's because many of the customers are jerks. Since the public at large has iPhones and not everyone has Mac... we get the lowest common denominator.

I can only imagine the calls, I'm sure csat is a tough goal no matter the %.

" I dropped my iPhone an now the screen is broken, replace it now"

yep, a very tough que.

All the Best to everybody

Is true that apple sends out there own computers to let at home agents work on them

Chatt Girl

Thanks I live in Chattanooga Tennessee so they aren't hiring in my area

That's cool I just applied through apple did you get the job

I think so but not sure waiting on official word. I'm self employed, so I have to submit one more piece of documentation to complete the BGC.

Let me know if you get an interview. I got a call (1st interview) four days after I applied.

For those who didn't get it....

Been lurking since last Tuesday, I think. Already had my first and second interviews - not passed onto third. Second was Skype with recruiter. Knew at end of session did not get it - I don't need an email or phone call to confirm that fact.

Anyway, just wanted to say to those who didn't get it: It's okay. You shouldn't feel so let down, rejected, or as another poster stated "devastated." EGADS! It's just another job. Well, okay - the pay and benefits are great, but still.......

I've worked in various call centers both in management AND on the phones - sales, customer service, technical, billing, collections, fund raising - you name it, I've done it. If you didn't get the gig and had no prior experience, trust me when I say you're not missing much! The job is very stressful and very difficult. Not just with Apple, but across the board - the whole profession is mired with dissatisfied workers, and not just because the work involved itself but also the policy and procedure that goes along with call center work. There's always something for the nitpicking no matter how good you are AND you're always expendable. Turn over in this field has ALWAYS been astronomical. Take heed of the advise this AngryGerbil guy has given throughout this forum - he ain't lyin! To those of you with experience - well, you already know the deal.

So, pick yourselves up and dust yourselves off - onward, upward! Disappointment is part of the game of life and you really have no choice but to go on. For those of you yet to engage in an interview, I suggest you use your mp3 player or other recording device to record the interview and listen later for your mistakes and learn from them. Remember that this was still a valuable learning experience. Best of luck to you all, and a sincere congratulations to the successful candidates!

How soon can I move locations (within the same state) once working for Apple? Can I move two weeks into it?

I love it, but it's not for everyone

I came back to this forum just to tell you guys that it's amazing and I love it but it's definitely not for everyone. I'm T1 CPU and I'm enjoying myself and I can see paths to other positions. You have to have immense patience and excellent people skills. People call me all mad, but when they hear how sweet I am and how much I care, they just chill right out. You have to love learning. And you have to be independent and responsible, but also helpful to your teammates. If you don't have all that, this will not be for you. That being said, I wish you all good luck! It's an amazing company and if you don't take the callers emotions too seriously, you'll do fine. Working at home is wonderful. I'm saving so much money not driving to work, and eating at home, etc. I am looking forward to actually getting out of debt and getting my life on track. Be well guys. Namaste.

yep, people have made this very stressful work,,,,sad part it DOES NOT need to be stressful, customers are NOT always right, but then neither are managers or the call handlers.

people need to slow down and smell the roses before they wilt

chat might be cool, voice inflection can kill you on the phone.

Just an update...I got the offer call on Friday night, 3 days after my BGC completion.
The entire process started took about 3 weeks, from the first email to the job offer. I'll be starting on 5/20.
I am super pumped!!! I've never been so excited about a job before!
Thanks for your help, all you posters!

Very well put. To be honest, I kind of wish I didn't get hired as I truly hate the job but I will stick with it until I find something that's more in line with my background. If I was still unemployed, I'd probably be working much harder at finding a job but I can't do AHA much longer since I'm getting really sick of phone calls. Also, the longer I do this stuff the less I get to practice my regular skill set.

In any case... For those of you that don't get hired, remember that failure is an event, not a person.

Thanks! Yes, it was completed on Tuesday and I got the call Friday. I also gave my recruiter a call Friday afternoon and left a message. Then it was my second interviewer who called me back and offered me the job.
Good luck to you!
