Okay, I get the trading shift. But if somebody doesent want to work a afternoon. Can you just take the shift without trading. Like work a morning shift then just work that afternoon that you "stole" do they allow that?

No, you cannot give and take hours, only trade. There are however various opportunities where they offer extra hours for people to volunteer for. These hours are offered to the PT people before the FT people.

Thats exactly what I wanted to hear... Thank you so much! :)

Oh wow! Yeah, Im in Texas so im central. But yeah. If you were 9 pm.. then I got about an hour left to be on my feet and wait by the phone. I am the manager at a Post Office. And we have training and postal exams the rest of the week full time. Whatch the freaking phone ring when im in class -__-

I missed my first offer call. I called back, left a voicemail, and was called back almost immediately after. If you don't get the call yet, remember, no news is good news. Most people who get "thanks for playing" get it sooner, and if you're past the background check, it's like 95% sure you're in.

You can in fact trade shifts but lots of luck trying to find someone that's going to give up an 8 - Noon shift and work 8 - midnight. Tons of folks want days but very few want evenings.

Thanks for your reply! I would be willing to trade a 8 to Noon for a 8 to Midnight if it meant avoiding paying a babysitter (ultimately I'll I'm willing to do this whenever necessary however) What is the process of finding someone that may want to trade?

For your first 6 months it's just email/group chat with your teammates. After that there are public "forums" if you will to post your trade requests or to find trade requests posted by others.

Your awesome! thanks so much! I heard somebody( I have no idea who said it) say they waited 3 weeks! Now thats along time after your BCG before you hear anything else. I hope I don't have to wait that long. Hell, I hope I don't have to wait until the end of the week for that matter. Lol, But im willing to wait if it means that I wont receive that horrible horrible email :p

That was me! Lol, and several others throughout the history of this forum. Very few corporate hires hear back terribly quickly. hearing back in 3-7 days is definitely more rare 2-3 weeks.

Okay so here's the deal my BGC supposedly completed on the 15th of April but when I click the hyperlink in the HireRight email it says in progress. Is this normal or should I be worried?

As long as it isn't requesting more information you should be good to go.

Thanks as far as I know it's not. I guess the thing that worried me the most is that alot of people here said they got an email telling them the BGC was complete. I did not I had to call and check the status then they told me it was. Thanks for the reply DirtyHobo.

If they need more information next to where it says in progress on the status page after you log in I believe there would be a link requesting more information.

Just checked again it says Completed. No action required. That just changed today and doesn't say progress anymore I am guessing that a good thing? I hope and pray.

Yep. You are definitely good to go now. It was likely pretty much completed before but waiting for one last irrelevant company to get back to them or something along those lines.

Good Afternoon, Thank you for calling Apple. My name is Brandon.. How can I help you today? :) Heheh.. Soooon enough :)

Thanks for this info! How long did everything did everything take for you after your offer call? (Offer email, paperwork, receive iMac) Thanks again!

Sorry this post is late I was out of town. No, I haven't heard anything yet since my phone call Thursday afternoon

phone call? so you got an interview?

----------

I applied through Kelly services a few days ago and today i got an email telling me to take an assessment test, then a phone audition. I just did both. I thought i did okay on both. How long does it normally take to hear back from them?

I'm not that experienced so i'm not thinking i'll get hired. I have no job experience. I know basic computer things and moderate about smartphones. I've only ever had Windows computers and mainly android phones. I do know most of the questions others have said they have gotten asked during the interview. But i do not know very many technical issues besides the basic.

Do i even have a chance of getting hired?

Also on Kelly services it listed the job as full time. On Apple (i just applied there today) it only says part time. Can anyone verify whether it's part time or full time?

Also for the requirements it says an ergonomic chair. Is there a way for them to know that i don't have one? They do cost a lot of money and i don't have that just lying around.
It also says about a landline. I do have one but its my family's. Does this matter? I talked to my cable company and they told me i would have to get a commercial land line if i used it for work which is $50+ a month.

~I am so sorry for all the questions. But if someone could help me out and answer a question i have i'd be grateful! thanks

this is not a temp to hire position, you will be hired by kelly and working for kelly. that will not change, unless you apply and get hired by apple yourself. I do not believe they check to see what kind of chair you actually have, however I do not know that for a fact so I could be wrong. when you go through Kelly for ios, it is full time, when you go through apple it is most likely part time. they are different jobs with different companies doing the same thing. the most important thing to understand is you get paid 50% more working for apple than you do working for kelly.

Yes, I got the phone interview, the recruiter said she thought I was a good fit for the position! This time she stated she she was going to be speaking with other recruiters and I should be hearing within 3 days! I didn't hear anything today though so hopefully I will tomorrow

Hey, I have a question for one of you that work for AHA. Is there a computer agreement to send your iMac back after you are terminated or quit?
