Exactly! No BS here.

----------

I just got off of mine. They tell you how to properly fill out and send in all the paperwork.. Tell you about phone line and internet requirements.. They give you an idea of your training schedule.. Like 9-6 CST Mon-Fri type stuff. They also let you ask all your questions. It took about an hour for me.

I had the same happen to me. Through each interview they stated the per hour rate and asked if I was okay with it. When my recruiter called to offer me the job he said all though it was supposed to be X amount they wanted to offer me more. Pretty pretty good. I didn't ask why though because I was blown away that a company would actually offer more. I take that as a sign of good things to come.

I just got my boxes in today and I am so stoked to start! :D

Congrats. I'm just waiting on my offer email. I already got my offer call. Then I should get paperwork and go from there. :)

Hey all. I am trying to apply for the At-Home Advisor position but am a bit unsure at one part of the application.

I am a college student. For the education degree area, do I put "High School" and select "Yes" for received degree since that's my highest completed level of education, or do I put in "Bachelor" and "No" to indicate that I'm currently working towards that?

Although I think I know the correct choice (the second), I'd really hate to be mistaken on what's being asked for and meant by the yes/no area.

Thanks.

When I had my interview with the hiring manager, I asked about the hours when the new products were coming out, and he told me it wouldn't interfere with people starting out in September because that is the launch of the new products, we'll be strictly training for those 4 or 5 weeks.

Now that could be a different story with people starting in August. :)

Finished my N.E.O

Morning All,

Well I just finished my New Employee Orientation through Kelly Connect and it was about three hours and forty five minutes long. It was very straight forward and it mainly consisted of the history of the company of Kelly and with the actual job description. There were about 35 people including myself there. You have to keep your phone with you of course to hear the instructor but if you have speaker it helps because you can just put the phone down. They have you mute the phone so you don't hear each others background or feedback. We also discussed employee referrals as well as what type of equipment we will receive and also what percentage must be maintained on exams during training. We were shown how to log our time on the time keeping system as well as how to set up our e-mail. We were also informed on our schedules which was mainly that everyone starting right now will have an afternoon schedule starting time in production and it is based on stats in order to receive a better shift in the future. I hope this is helpful for anyone curious about the N.E.O. :apple:

I've spoken with the lady at Kelly Services she called me back to inform me that I would be getting an interview call in August sometime; she said that I had passed my initial testing. I asked about getting 40 hours a week because this is what I am getting at my current job now and if hired I really do not want to quit and go to something where I am only going to get 25 hours a week.

:D:D:D

Can someone please answer a question for me? I live in iowa and they are looking for people in the area for the AHA position. I see on indeed.com they are still looking for manager for my area. Does anyone think they would hire the manager before they mo e forward in the process of hiring advisors? I really want this job and can't stop reading this thread. Any info would be very much appreciated!! Thx

Got my offer today. I was also offered more than the original offer. I've been told this is the new standard for the position but it is based on location and I feel it was a very generous offer. The wait was awful but it turns out my recruiter is at the Olympics so the person filling in for him took a while to sort through his notes. I start on the 13th! So excited!

Thanks! I have my paperwork session on Monday. According to my buddy who got the job as well he says the new hire packet is really cool, just waiting to get mine, I'd assume I would get it on Monday as I got the offer last night and I don't believe they deliver on sundays. Hopefully it will be in time for the call.

Yeah mines Monday morning so I'm really hoping I get mine first thing on Monday. I think Fedex might deliver on Saturdays though. Idk for sure.

Question for those who have already received their equipment: What kind of phone is provided? There's only one phone jack in this house and I would like to avoid getting another installed or running a long wire. Does the unit have a headset so that I won't need the phone's base near me?

It's a large office-style phone with a corded headset and you must have the base near you.

The home phone line has to be a dedicated one for work only? Like...the number itself?

Yes, as I understand it, you need a number that has to be dedicated for work only with no extra services like caller ID, call waiting, etc. Think about it....they don't want your mad ex-girlfriend blowing up your phone while you are trying to talk with a customer. That could be a little distracting. :)

Lmao I just got off the phone with my internet / phone company and they said for me it's 29.99 for a second internet line and 44.99 for a second phone number. 0.o

pretty expensive lol.

I am in the August 13th Class! Im looking forward to it so exciting! And My background check took 24 hours, HireRight Checked the employers and such and Apple Called Me back Promptly! It was awesome! Just Waiting for the Paperwork. How long did that take you guys to receive?

Man you had a really quick bg check. Im hoping mine goes by almost just as fast. I had my final interview Thursday at 3 and was told to wait for the next steps from hr. Less than an hour later I received an email from HireRight for the BG check. I immediately filled it out and sent it back. They emailed me the next day afternoon and asked for some documentation for one of my employers. I had already warned them that they would have to go through hoops for one of the companies I contracted for because contacting someone in HR was impossible. So I sent them my contract and certificate for my LLC to prove self employment.) within 5 minutes of each fax, they sent confirmation emails of receipt of each peice. That was for the first employee on the list so I'm hoping that they had already verified the other two. I know the background part doesn't take long and mind is crystal clear so I'm hoping that they will be done on Monday and Apple has everything they need. My hiring process so far has been pretty quick and it's only been a little over a week. But congrats on getting the job!

Thank you, this forum really helps and if nothing changes like my start date of training, likewise see u in the virtual classroom.
