If it's not there, tell your recruiter immediately. They'll need to fix that for you.

I haven't noticed anyone banned. Who was banned?

Violating the NDA could get you fired but not booted from the forum. Violating forum rules, i.e. racism, pirated software links, etc could get you booted for sure.

I think they are talking about nestle01? Idk why they got banned. He said he had multiple accounts. That is against some forum rules so maybe that.

I’m in the terrible waiting phase for the 7/1 CPU Class. After the last Interview, he said that he was looking forward to working with me and that he would see me July first. I’m just getting real nervous something fell through the cracks. Would it do any harm/good If I e-mailed my last Interviewer?

My Timeline:

5/08 - First Call / Mini Interview
5/14 - First FaceTime Interview
5/16 - Second FaceTime Interview
5/16 - Background Check Started
5/21 - Background Check Completed

I wouldn't. It'll likely just irritate them. Just wait it out - yes, the waiting phase is long, and it may seem like nothing's happening for quite some time. However, you haven't been forgotten about, and the system does work. You'll hear back one way or the other eventually. Good luck!

I wouldn't be worried if I were you. I remember reading the threads around the 4th of July and the holiday really seemed to slow things a bit. I would think Memorial Weekend has had a similar affect.

I believe Congrats are in order for you ! :D

when i first interviewed i wasn't working for kelly yet. Once i started i didn't tell them. Do you think i should have?

I was just curious because I accepted a job with Kelly for now and was wondering if working for them would affect my chances with Apple.

FaceTime interview Tuesday

Got a facetime interview next Tuesday... STOKED!

I do have a question about training... I was told that if I was job offered I would start July 15... Right smack dab in the middle of a trip that we've already booked... Plane tickets, hotels... etc.

Soooo... What are the odds that I could push back my training into August? Or is there a way to make-up that first week somehow? We would totally cancel but we're invested upwards of $2000 bucks in this trip... What do you think??

There is no such thing as making up a week. The training classes are very organized and keep to a set schedule. As to whether or not you can start at a later date, that would be a question for a recruiter.

What's more important? The job that could possibly change your life depending how high you want to go, or a trip? You be the judge. Lol kidding. Ask your recruiter.

I think you're not very good at planning. Why are you doing a job hunt when you know you're slated for a vacation next month? And if you're taking a $2000 trip, apparently you don't need a job very badly either.

6/24 start date

According to the info I got in regards to my questions to Apple today: A) wait the sixth months if you get the Thanks for playing email B) whether you have worked at Kelly or not is irrelevant.

I was glad to get those answered.

If and when my BGC clears I too will be in the 6/24 class w/Kelley..Pretty excited since I too tried to get on w/Apple directly which proved unsuccessful..:p

Wow, thanks for this elegant response. Your logic is infallible.

Why am I doing a job hunt when I know I'm slated for vacation next month? Because I need a job, and that's what people do.

In regards to the $2000 dollar trip, you're right, the fact that my wife and I squirreled away 2K to take a dream vacation while we're young means that I'm rich and is in no way an indicator that I'm a decent saver and don't wait until I'm in the poorhouse to start looking for a job. You're right, I should wait until I'm completely broke -- I'm sure to find something fantastically rewarding if I'm completely desperate.

Thanks for opening my eyes to this, AngryGerbil. By the way, good luck on graduating from High School next week.

I generally find when somebody realizes their opponent has a semi-valid point they usually resort to mud slinging of some type.

He does, after all, have a point. If you had read this thread it's mighty strange to be applying when you're slated for a big trip you wouldn't want to cancel. Maybe your recruiter can bump you classes, maybe they'll say "seeya." Give it a whirl.

Anytime :) Actually, I graduated HS in the late 70's... That's why I'm such a curmudgeon. Now get off my lawn.

Thanks for giving me a simple, non-snarky reply man. I appreciate it.
