Had the 2nd interview last Wednesday and the Corp. Recruiter, when asked "how do you think I did?" said "I'm not privy to giving you that information, but, I think you did very well". I thought pretty good too. Remember hearing a couple of "perfects" etc. Told me he was forwarding my information to a hiring manager and I would hear something in 2 - 5 days and ... just got the "you're screwed" email ?!

I cannot tell you HOW upset I am. Especially after following this thread and seeing what has been hired. Sorry. It is the truth. People that can't even follow simple policy such as "Don't Open The Box"... "19 of 27 dismissed" during training ... people that can't spell or articulate a simple forum post but Apple is boasting they're #1 in Customer Service ? ... ok. o_O

Dedicated, educated, experienced, hard worker ... yet, looked over. Mystery to me what this Country has come to, but I'll continue to try, because I know I am as good as some of those I've seen hired on this thread.

Echo, You can apply to any position, anywhere for AHA. Location doesn't matter. I am thinking page #243 has a wealth of info... If that's not the page, pm me, I'll find it for you. Good Luck!

You may have not gotten the job for your lack of people skills and obvious god complex... Just an observation. :)

Was wondering if there is any common denominator as to if you get put in iOS or CPU? For example are you finding that if you are very tech savvy you get put into CPU and if you are more into Apple mobile devices you get put in iOS? I own an iPad, iPhone and Apple TV, yet have never touched an iMac or MacBook. I know the hardware is basically the same as a PC, but honestly don't know how I pulled Mountain Lion out of my hat during the first interview as the current Mac OS??? That said however, I am and have been a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) since 1999. I have decades of experience and am Microsoft Certified in Supporting, implementing and administering Server's and Networks running NT 4.0, 2003, and 2008, Microsoft Certified in Supporting users and Administering Windows OS's 98, NT, 2000, XP and 7. I also have A+ Hardware and Network+ certs. My theory is I'm probably better suited to CPU but we shall see. I didn't ask if I was in CPU or iOS during my offer call because I was too busy processing the fact that my start date was being pushed back 2 months from July 1 to August 26. :apple:

Congrats! Do you know if you are in iOS or CPU?

Nope, they didn't say

Hi.
I am new here.
Well.. I had the first interview last Friday.
The interviewer told me that I would hear something from them within 7-10 days.
Now. it's been 5 days! but there has been no contact.

I'll expect a call/an email from them at any moment now...

I haven't been able to sleep at night lately....

No matter how good you think you are, if you're 95% ego and 5% empathy you won't get hired. Is that articulate enough?

So guys, this is my first post here. I've been reading this thread for a while now. I got my call, and I'm in for the AHA position, but I can't help but to be totally afraid and nervous about the people, the requirements, and these tests at the end of each training week to stay on.. It all scares the crap out of me I haven't eaten in like 2 days LOL. Any heads up or suggestions while I'm back reading this 300+ page thread? Thanks guys!

When do you start training? i have my third interview today and if i get it ill be in the 7/15 class hopefully!

Does anyone know if the phone has to have a long distance plan, or should i just get the cheapest local plan available? I've got quite a few options in my area with a million plans between them all.

I just had my paperwork session the other day, and I forgot to ask them. I've skimmed a lot of this thread, but haven't been able to find anything, and I don't have anyone's contact info except the people in HR. If anyone could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

As plain as a phone as you can get with no long distance, caller ID or other features. All calls are incoming.

Update!

Hello everyone!

I got my HireRight email last night and just completed it. I am very excited about this. I am slated to start on July 15. I am positive there is nothing on my background check that would be an issue, so now I am just waiting.

Fingers crossed!:apple:

It all can be overwhelming.. trust me... I know. However, just stay positive, be kind, take notes, and pay attention... that's the best advice I can give you.

All jobs are what you make of them and after speaking with a friend, who was also my old boss, she's in training now and says that this is the best training she's ever received. So that's a huge relief to hear that it's going well for her.

----------

I'm curious...

Has anyone in the 7/15 class received their offer yet? I know we're all doing backgrounds right now.

Just wondering.

nice! random you're in Florence like me. how'd you apply and when?

I have not yet, but my background check was completed a few days ago. Just waiting to received the offer now, im assuming it might be another few days until it happens as I saw some people getting offers just now for the 7/8 class.

Nerve racking!

Hey guys! I've been lurking for a while.

Actually, not really lurking. I spent most of the time reading 300 pages of posts.... That took a lot of patience!

I got my initial call to set up a interview on June 4th. I'm interviewing for the 8/15 class.

Currently waiting on my background check which should be all clean to my knowledge.

Anyone for the 8/15 class POSSIBLY get a offer call? I know it's early. I'm just really antsy. :/

I'm REALLY looking forward to this.
